Soonyoung has been acting weird from the moment he showed up at the practice. First, he was late which was out of ordinary; secondly, he didn't talk much after he got here, mostly practicing with us or on his own. I tried asking him but he just shrugged saying 'under the weather'. What a bullshit!

But I didn't pester him much after that thinking we could always talk after the practice, but guess what! He fucking disappeared when we all were done with the shower. Chan looked worried but he didn't say anything to us, Minghao asked me in a whisper if I knew anything but I shook my head when he rested his head on my shoulder under the big oak tree on the campus.

In a few seconds we can see figure running our way, it's Samuel with a few paper bags occupying both of his hands, I fear he might stumble on something and spill everything on the floor but thankfully he made to us without any accident.

"Someone is lovestruck," Minghao Snickers beside me, trembling as he tried not to laugh at the younger boy who's now glaring at him.

"Hey guys," Sam pants, gripping on his knees.

"Hey Sam," I smile, taking the bags of his hands, rummaging through them to get my coffee. My smile stretches wide as I see the strawberry cake, I show it to Minghao, he shakes his head at me as he takes his own coffee but he fails to hide endearment from his eyes.

"Thanks Sam_"

"I saw Soonyoung hyung with one of Riha's friend," he cuts me off as he sits beside Chan.

"Which one?" Chan's faster than both of us, Minghao has also straighten himself.

"I don't know her name. But you know the one who's always hanging around with her, wavy rose gold hair," Sam tries to make big gestures for us to understand. But who has that kind of hair, I try to concentrate on the hair color until it dawns into me.

"Jiyoung?"

"Weren't you all friends before that?" Minghao asks, I nod before shifting my eyes at Sam, "What were they talking about?"

Sam shakes his head, his bangs falling over his small face, a frown between his brows, "I don't know."

"We should go there," Chan's ready to get up but Sam holds him down. "It's no use. Hyung left already when I saw him. Well, talk about storming out."

"Whatever you saw just spill," Minghao rarely losses control over things and this is one of those things. I try to soothe his tension as I circle my palm over his back, smile when he leans in my touch.

"I was standing in the queue for getting my order when I hear a commotion in the back. I looked over my shoulder to find that girl screaming at someone, his back was facing me. So, I couldn't see the face at first," I see Chan silently encouraging the younger boy who smile at Chan before looking back at us.

"She was screaming about him not deserving her friend also the person he was seeing before storming out of the cafe. But the guy didn't say anything when the worker thrusted the bags to me and then someone brushed past me and that's when I knew it was Soonyoung hyung." Sam sighs, nuzzling his head on Chan's neck who pulls him close.

Just watching them both together is enough to make me smile, I guess the same goes for Minghao as I see him smiling at them endearingly.

"I tried to follow him but he was gone with his car," Sam finishes with a long sigh.

"It's ok, guys," I cheer them up, as I open the lid of my coffee. "Soonyoung went on a date with Jihoon. He told me about it yesterday, you know," I god-damned lie through my teeth without bating my lashes. Kwon Soonyoung! Just how much I'm going to suffer because of you!

Chan & Sam easily believe me as I see them sigh in relief, but Minghao narrows his eyes at me, I awkwardly shrug sipping on my coffee, throwing praises from time to time at the unknown barista who brewed this coffee that tastes amazing enough to ignore the topic in hands, consciously avoiding eye contact with Minghao and I know he won't go down without a proper fight.

He deliberately closes the gap between us which wouldn't even be more than one or two inches, I can feel his eyes linger on my lips. This boy does know how to push every right button in me, but I can't betray my friend right now. Nope. Minghao. Not. Today.

"Ge, aren't you praising the barista a bit too much," his Chinese accent is one of sexist things he posseses, but it sounds even sexier when he whispers which he is doing right now, his breath ghosting over my neck and I've possibly stopped breathing all along.

"Hyung, why are you suddenly speaking Chinese?" Thank you so much Chanie for helping out this poor hyung of yours, I can never be more indebt to you.

"C'mon, you don't wanna hear their sex talk, do you?" Sam! You shouldn't encourage this little beast now! Think about me at least! Me! Your favorite hyung!

"Well, you're right." Chan, my boy! This isn't the time for you to agree. Andae!!!!

"You both," Minghao chuckles, whizzing a bit at them as he pick up his cake. Thank goodness he won't inquiry me now at least, it's good enough for now. But the question is where the heck did Soonyoung go.

He always had this thing of being alone for some time since highschool. Well, everyone wants to have this alone time sometimes. But I just hope he doesn't take long, and that asshole knows that we're here for him, always.

"So, why did you lie?" here it comes, but at least Chan and Sam aren't here. I look at him from the corner of my eye, his hands are folded against his chest as his sharp eyes boring holes into me. I chuckle, driving my car.

"Don't laugh," he snaps, but there isn't any heat in those words, but love.

"Did you forget? Chan is meeting with Sam's parents today and I believe you wouldn't want him worry over Soonyoung," I keep my eyes at the busy road ahead us. Dino & Sam may not be dating each other for so long to meet each other's parents, but they wanted to tell them and I think it's cute. I wish we could do that too but family is a sensitive topic for Minghao and I don't wanna pressure him.

He doesn't even want my parents to know about his existence either, but he never told me the reason. Even though I want to respect all his decisions, I couldn't keep this a secret to my family as he wants. I've told my mother about him and she's very happy about it, but I never told him that 'cause I'm afraid I know what the next thing he would say.

"Oh!" was the only word he spoke after that, gazing outside through the windshield as we both busk in the uncomfortable silence.
