01. My Doom

"I AM DATING SOMEONE AND MY DATE WOULD BE VERY MUCH GLAD TO MEET Y'ALL!!"

Soonyoung shouted, not even caring about the fact he was in the middle of the dance studio, surrounded by other students as well as the dance instructor, not to mention, his ex-girlfriend was present in the crowd too.

"Ahem," the instructor cleared her throat to gain their attention. "Congratulations to you, Mr. Kwon. But I think you should settle down at this very moment," she sternly said as she clapped her hands to get them in line. "So, class, let's get started," she commanded as she showcased the new choreography for them to learn.

Soonyoung sighed in relief as the class had removed their attention from him. "So, you really are dating, huh," Jun teased as he playfully nudged the tiger boy's shoulder from one side while Chan did the same from the other side. "Yes, I am," Soonyoung replied while glaring at his friend who was already a laughing mess while Minghao rolled his eyes at their childishness even though he was doing the same thing as the others.

"Mr. Kwon & Mr. Moon, I believe you guys have some special thing that you want to share with us," the middle-aged instructor again glared at them. They both sheepishly shook their heads while Chan was trying to muffle his own laughter. "You too, Mr. Kwon," she fired back at the younger who stopped his giggling session at once before muttering an apology towards her.

If y'all are wondering how Soonyoung got himself into this mess, then let me sum it up for you guys.

Soonyoung as well as his friends knew very well that he couldn't move on from his previous relationship. The goofy personality of him was slowly dying and everyone around him was worried about him. His parents, brother, cousin as well as his friends.

They all wanted to help him out of this relationship and brought back their old friend, their fluffball, sunshine, Hoshi. But the path they chose was a bit different from regular terms. They started teasing him continuously.

"Oh, c'mon, you can't even move on from your ex-girlfriend."

"Don't tell me, you even forgot how to s€x!!!!"

"Hyung, it's called flirting. Oh, who am I talking? I forgot that you're single."

"How will you understand what it is like to be in a relationship."

"I guess you easily get bored when you're single."

These types of teasing were being thrown at him on a daily basis. Soonyoung thought he was strong enough to hold back his frustration and not to snap at them. But boy, he was so damn wrong which was proven just a while ago when he got to know that Dino was no longer single as he was dating the university's sweetheart, Kim Samuel, not to mention the audacity Chan had when he called his older brother "A single bitch forever", literally snapped the last string of patience he had managed to have for the past few months.

"So, when is the date of yours going to meet us?" Minghao started as he sat beside the older boy who was devastated by all these questions. "Just tell me when you want to meet. I'll bring my date there," Soonyoung replied with confidence as he munched on his chicken.

"Why don't you bring your date to our usual hangout spot this weekend?" Jun challenged, cocking an eyebrow at his friend as he could bet the younger had lied about dating someone. "Sure thing," Soonyoung replied more like growled, glaring at the chinese male while stabbing the innocent fried chicken with his fork.

"I'll ask Sam out too then," Chan cheered innocently. "Sure thing," Jun encouraged the maknae while Minghao patted his hair.

"Um, I heard you're dating someone," a quiet yet elegant voice brought them back to their senses that someone else was standing too close to their occupied table. Soonyoung's frown deepened as he looked who the person was who had the audacity to add fuel in the fire he was burning in.

"That's none of your business, Riha," Minghao snapped even before Soonyoung could say anything, but deep inside he was glad. "Yeah, he's dating'someone'," Jun air quoted, glaring at her. Soonyoung smacked Jun's hand to shut him up. "Yeah, I'm and I believe that doesn't concern you," Soonyoung said standing up as he faced the girl who already had tears in the corner of her eyes.

Soonyoung wanted to wipe off the tears from her eyes, but he knew he should not. So, he remained on his spot, cold as ever he could be as his eyes looked like it could cut through her porcelain skin into two. "I_I just wanted to know how that person is. Th_that's it," she stuttered out between her chewed lips as she was trying hard not to break in front of him.

"Why don't you just come and see it for yourself," Minghao provoked making Soonyoung wide eyed at his friend in disbelief. "Are you kidding me!" Soonyoung mouthed looking over his shoulder at the sassy boy who simply shrugged before smacking his shoulder as he got up from his seat.

"Just come to our usual hangout spot and you'll see the person he is dating," Minghao said as he pointed at Soonyoung with his thumb. "Yeah, you should," this time Chan challenged her as he came up behind his brother while harshly nudging his shoulder with his own to say something to prove his point. Soonyoung himself was baffled by the situation as he looked back and forth between Chan and Minghao.

"Yeah, I'll be there to congratulate you," Riha said flashing an smile as a single drop of tear rolled down on her cheek before she ran out of there, not wanting to break down in front of them.

Soonyoung wanted to go after her and make sure she was okay, but he couldn't. He was frozen on his spot as if someone had glued his shoes with the floor. But his heart still broke for her even though she was the one who had broken that heart into pieces.
