Her hand immediately lands on the back of my neck to deepen the kiss and I sigh into her mouth at the contact. My knees feel weak and my heart is pounding in my ears.

I use my hands to wrap around her waist to stabilize myself and I freeze for a moment feeling her muscles flex under my touch. Fuck, she is way too hot for her own good.

Her free hand lands on my hip to pull me even closer to her and I feel her tongue brush across my bottom lip and I can't help but let out a soft moan into the kiss.

I never knew a kiss could feel like this. I read my fair share of romance novels, but I really thought that they were exaggerating with the sparks that I feel all throughout my body. She is only kissing me, but I can feel it everywhere. My entire body is on fire.

We stay like this for what could have been either seconds or hours, I truly have no idea.

The kiss begins to soften and slow down as the hand on my neck moves to cup my jaw and she pulls away just enough to look into my eyes.

I look back into hers and we both smile as she leans in for one more kiss.

I take a step back so I can get some fresh air that's not filled with her intoxicating scent so I can come back to reality.

"I've been wanting to do that for a while." Jamie says, still wearing a painfully large smile.

"Believe me, me too." I say, shaking my head with a giggle.

She has no idea all of the nights I've been awake looking at my ceiling, thinking about this very thing.

We look at each other for a few seconds before her eyebrows raised and reaches for her bag abruptly.

"I almost forgot, here, this one is for you to take." She walks closer to me and hands me a perfect sunflower.

I truly believe that this woman is going to be the death of me.

"Thank you Jamie, I really really love it." I say as I hold the flower close to my heart and smile warmly up at her.

"I was really hoping that this morning would play out like this." She smiles as she closes the space between our lips once more.

"And then what happened??? Please tell me you pulled her into the farmhouse. PLEASE" Leah pleads with me, clearly very invested in this story.

I laugh out loud as I shake my head at Leah. Myself, Leah, Alex, Sam, Sebastian and Abigail are all sitting at our normal table at the Saloon as I recount the details of the kiss that happened 2 days ago. Everyone seems to be quite invested in my love life lately, and who am I to deprive my friends of the details of the best kiss in history?

"Sorry to say, but there was no farm house action after the kiss." I say as I burst into laughter at everyone's disappointed looks.

"Was there some field action then?" Alex asks while wiggling his eyebrows.

"No! We only kissed. It was so sweet. I also don't want to rush into anything. Let's not forget that was my first kiss guys" I say matter of factly.

Because yeah, that was my first real kiss. I need to take this slow and do this right. Jamie is... special. I want this to go right and to not rush anything.

"Hey! I can't believe you'd brush off our kiss like that. I'm offended!" Alex says with his hand over his heart, trying to look hurt but he can't contain the smile on his face.

We all burst out laughing at that and luckily the subject changes. We talk about anything and everything for the next hour as people continue to roll into the Saloon.
