when sunday came, jacki packed her things up and started to prepare for her journey back to LA. the paramedic closed her truck after placing her things and made her way to the house again where her parents and madison stood."alright, i'm gonna head out now...i really appreciate the weekend" jacki replied
"maybe one day...i can come up to LA?" madison asked
jacki looked at her parents who both nodded.
"yeah, you can come up to LA with me one day" jacki replied
"and call us about that date on friday!"
"i will...bye"
jacki kissed her parents goodbye before kissing madison on the top of her head. once jacki said her goodbyes, she got into her car and started to drive off; she waved bye as she finally pulled away from the driveway and started to head back to LA.

jacki finally got home, she felt a sigh and flopped on her bed, ready to take in all the softness of her bed. forgetting about her suitcase and everything until she heard a knock on her door. the paramedic grumbled into her mattress and told whoever was at her door to go away. another knock again.
"go away!" jacki yelled
"really?" it was gio
jacki got up and ran over to see gio on the other side with food in his hands.
"what are you doing here? i thought we had a date this friday?"
"i know but i couldn't help it, kind of wanted to see you"
jacki smiled before hugging him tightly and letting him into her apartment. gio smiled softly before noticing a bedroom that wasn't decorated from head to toe.
"is that your room?"
"uhhh no i had a roommate like a few months back when i first started at the 118 and then after not getting auditions, she went back home. rents been fine so i'm not worried too much"
"ah...okay"
jacki led him into the kitchen and set the food down. she opened the containers and found chinese food wafting into her nose. the young paramedic smiled as she went to grab utensils and plates for us. gio smiled as he watched jacki move around her kitchen.
"you really didn't have to do this, i appreciate it, really"
"i'm glad, also your friend, chim is doing well...i mean still in a coma but i guess there hasn't been much to update?"
"i understand, you don't have to always update me on chim, but i do appreciate it...."
jacki didn't want to worry about chim even though she's been for days now. right now she just wanted to think about anything else, think about gio, think about how she was going back to work in a few days.
