(INSIDE THE MARTINEZ COMPANY)
Lotus Rose's eyes widened as she stared at the man sitting behind the desk. The boss at.. the Martinez shareholders meeting, was the same mysterious stranger from the club. Her mind reeled as she tried to process the connection, as she looks at the name plate on the desk"MR AEON MARTINEZ" as she tries to recover from the shocking revelation in front of her .
"Aeon...I mean, Mr. Aeon good day," she stuttered, her voice barely audible.
Aeon's expression was calm, but his eyes gleamed with a knowing intensity. "I wanted to keep my personal life separate, Miss Lotus Rose. But it seems fate had other plans."
"What did you mean?!" She asked.
As a mischievous smirk appeared on his face "I know that you are the white hair stripper that rejected my offer, at the club,as what else should I reminded you about,hmmm"
Lotus Rose's thoughts raced as she tried to comprehend the situation. She had wanted to quit Martinez shareholders company due to the strange occurrences and her growing unease, but now she felt trapped. Her family's financial dependence on her job made it impossible to leave.
" Mr Aeon, I...I need to leave," she stammered, trying to hide her desperation.
Aeon's smile was enigmatic. "I'm afraid that's not possible, Miss Lotus Rose as the junior executive. You're crucial to our projects, and I won't let you go that easily."
Lotus Rose felt a chill run down her spine as she realized she was trapped in a web of secrets and lies, with no escape in sight.
Lotus Rose's eyes locked onto Aeon's, her mind racing with questions. "What do you want from me, Mr Aeon?,is It because of what happened that night ago?!, Or wait, have you been watching me?"
Aeon's smile was enigmatic. "Let's just say, Miss Lotus Rose, that we have a mutual interest. One that could benefit us both."
Lotus Rose's skepticism was evident. "I doubt that. You're hiding something, Mr Aeon. What is it?"
Aeon's eyes seemed to bore into her soul. "Very well. I'll show you. But be warned, once you see, there's no going back."
He led her to a secret room, filled with surveillance footage and files. Mr Lotus Rose's heart raced as she saw her Family, everything about them, even their secrets,laid bare before her eyes.
Aeon's whisper was menacing. "You see,Miss Lotus Rose, I know everything about your family. And I'll use it to get what I want."
"What do you mean by that" She questioned as she slowly walk away from the room.
" Stay here and do your job well, have a good day,". Mr Aeon mocked her as she finally left the room.
{OUTSIDE THE CEO OFFICE TO THE CONFERENCE OFFICE}
Lotus Rose walked into the conference room which they haven't started yet because it was still early, her heart still racing from her encounter with Mr Aeon. She took a deep breath, preparing herself for the meeting ahead.
As she entered, A woman's eyes locked onto hers, a sly smile spreading across her face as she spoke to her lapdogs. "Well, well, well. Look what Aeon's brought to the table. A fresh little flower, ready to be plucked." Causing a small laughter among themselves
Lotus Rose ignored the woman's taunt, her focus on the meeting. But the woman continued to prod, her comments laced with venom. "I'm sure you'll fit right in, sweetheart. That's if you stay away from him, because he is mine."
Lotus Rose's eyes narrowed, her patience wearing thin. "Miss, I'm here to work, not to play games with you or crushing on Mr Aeon, so don't bother yourself with me."
Just then, a bright voice interrupted the tension. "Hey, hey, hey! Let's not start the day on the wrong foot, shall we?"
The lady bounced into the room, her energy infectious. "Hello you must be Miss Quint, I'm so glad you're here! We're going to make an amazing team!"
Lotus Rose Rose smiled, grateful for the rescue. "Thanks,I think we're going to get along just fine, but you can call me lotus Rose."
The lady winked. "Freya, My name is Freya Ortega, I knew we would get along! And don't worry about Marianna, she's just mad because Mr Aeon's attention is elsewhere."
"Oh, the useless bitch name is Marianna, how pathetic, her name should being a disgusting one, hmph" lotus Rose thought inwardly
Marianna's eyes flashed with anger and left with her lapdogs after the conference just started, but Lotus Rose and Freya ignored her , focusing on the meeting ahead. As they left the conference room, Freya turned to Lily Rose and whispered, "Don't worry, I've got your back. We're in this together!"
Lotus Rose smiled, feeling a sense of relief. She had found her first friend in Freya, and together, they would take on the challenges ahead.
During the meeting,Mr Aeon came with a visitor "This is Mr Kingsley Castillo, He is going to be helping us in his investment for the time being and also he is my pal" introduced him as Mr Kingsley waved with a short" Good day"
Suddenly lotus Rose heart skips a beat multiple times as she held her chest, her cheek hurt to crimson color and she spoke with a whisper "he is so handsome'' as her gaze was filled with lustful desire, unknownly to her, Aeon who gazes is one lotus Rose was filled with strange emotions of anger and low self esteem
Anger because of the fact that his pal, Kingsley have just captured lotus Rose's eyes and not him, and low self esteem because he (Aeon) is now comparing himself to him, to see why she likes him.
"Wait, am I jealous, no, I can't be, for a mere stripper, what an idiot I will be" he scoffed inwardly as he excuses himself and Kingsley from the meeting, immediately they left, lotus Rose look back to the meeting, and thought inwards "I think I am in love with him."
