CHAPTER 73 BROKEN TO BE MEND

{AT RONNIE ANNE'S APARTMENT}
Ronnie Anne's room was in shambles. Music sheets littered the floor, her guitar lay broken, and tears streamed down her face.

Stella, Ronnie Anne's mother,stood tall, her eyes blazing."You're throwing your life away, Ronnie! Music killed your father. I won't let it kill you too."

Ronnie Anne's voice trembled.
"That's not fair! Dad's death was an accident. Music didn't kill him."

Stella's expression hardened."I won't argue about this. No music in this house. Ever."

Ronnie Anne's anger boiled over.
"You're suffocating me! You're controlling my life because of your own fears."

Stella's face reddened. "How dare you! I'm protecting you."

Their argument escalated.

Ronnie Anne hurled words she couldn't take back. "You're just a hypocrite! You're living in the past. Dad would want me to pursue my dreams."

Stella's eyes welled up with tears.
"Get out! Leave my house."

Ronnie Anne stormed out, slamming the door as Stella collapsed, surrounded by shattered dreams.

"Please, Ronnie, don't make me lose you too."

The silence between them grew thicker than the broken guitar strings.

{OUTSIDE THE APARTMENT}
Blind Grayson's phone rang, displaying Lotus Rose's name,as he was walking down the street to get fresh air with the direction of his cane.

He quickly composed himself, ensuring his surroundings appeared busy.

As the phone automatically answer itself and he spoke "Hey, Lotus Rose! What's up?,why are you Trembling?."

Lotus Rose's voice trembled on the phone. "Grayson, you won't believe who I found!"

Gracey's curiosity piqued. "Who?"

"My twin sister, your step sister, Lily Rose!" Lotus Rose exclaimed.

Grayson's heart skipped a beat."What?, Where?,Where is she?, I need to see her now!"

Lotus Rose directed Grayson to the bakery" Come quickly."

Grayson's mind raced. "On my way. Give me 30 minutes."

He ended the call,as he able to call a taxi to get him to the bakery .

{AT THE FANCY BAKERY}
Grayson's cane tapped against the bakery floor. "Hello?" he called out.
His sensitive ears picked up murmurs."Lily Rose?"

Then a gentle touch on his arm. "Grayson?"Lily Rose's voice trembled.

Grayson's face lit up. "Lily?, is that you?, older sister?"

Tears streamed down Lily Rose's face as she saw his blind eyes."Grayson, it is me."

Grayson's hands explored her face.
"Your voice...it's really you."

Lotus Rose, came forward and guided his hands to her shoulders. "I'm here, Grayson."

Grayson's smile broadened. "I've found you, first older sister."

Lotus Rose and bodyguards watched, emotional as Some patrons stared, mesmerized, some flimed the scene with their phones.

His fingers traced Lily Rose's features.
"Your eyes...your smile..."

Lily Rose's heart swelled. "You're still handsome, Grayson."

Grayson chuckled. "You're still kind, Lily." As their bond keep on reigniting.
