{A WEEK LATER, IN THE DEVIL'S EMPIRE, XAVIER'S MANSION, XAVIER'S ROOM}
In the heart of darkness, a sanctuary reigns,A realm of power, where shadows sustain.The walls, a somber canvas, black as the night,Grey undertones whispering strength, a masculine light.The air thick with sophistication, heavy with might,Echoes of luxury resonate, a symphony in sight. Furniture, masterpieces of craftsmanship divine,Elegant lines, precision-cut, sublime.
A ebony wood desk, polished to perfection,Commands the space, a throne for introspection. Leather-bound chairs, soft as summer breeze,Invite repose, in stately, masculine ease.
Shelves of dark walnut, adorned with gold,Display treasures, stories untold.
Crystal glassware, refracting ambient light,Dances with shadows, a mesmerizing sight.A sectional sofa, sleek, in charcoal grey,Beckons relaxation, after a long day.Plush carpets, soft beneath bare feet,Muffle footsteps, in discreet retreat.
The room's pulse beats strong, a rhythmic thrum,A haven for contemplation, or strategic hum.
A space where kings are made, and empires born,Where power and elegance entwine, forever sworn.Lily Rose stood alone in Xavier's room, staring out the window as the sun dipped below the horizon. The news had spread like wildfire: the wedding was off.
A mix of emotions swirled within her. Relief washed over her first, followed by a pang of sadness. Xavier's face floated in her mind, his eyes filled with longing.
She flashed back to their last conversation.
{FLASHBACKS}
Lily Rose stood beside Xavier on the windswept cliff, the vast expanse of ocean stretching before them. The setting sun cast a golden glow, but the atmosphere was tense.After that almost car accident because of his anger,she decided to talk to him and tell him once and for all.
"Xavier, I need to talk to you," Lily Rose began, her voice steady.
Xavier's eyes narrowed. "What is it?"
"I'm not ready to get married," she said, her words tumbling out in a rush. "I care for you deeply, but I need time. Can't we just date, get to know each other better?"
Xavier's face darkened, his temper flaring. "You're telling me this now? After all the plans, the preparations?"
Lily Rose took a step back, her eyes locked on Xavier's. "I know it's sudden, but I couldn't keep quiet. I still want to be with you, but as your girlfriend, not wife. Not yet."
Xavier's anger boiled over, his fists clenched. "You're humiliating me, Lily. Making a fool of me in front of everyone."
Lily Rose's heart racing, she stood firm. "That's not my intention. I love you, Xavier. But marriage is forever. Can't we take things slow?"
Xavier's gaze turned icy, his voice menacing. "You're going to regret this."
Suddenly, he grasped her arms, his grip tightening, pushing her . Lily Rose's feet scraped against the cliff's edge, the ground crumbling beneath her.
"Xavier, stop!" she cried out, fear gripping her.
Xavier's eyes flashed with anger, but something in Lily Rose's words pierced his fury.
"I love you," she repeated, her voice trembling. "Don't you want to make sure we're right for each other?"
Xavier's grip relaxed, his chest heaving. "You're pushing your luck, Lily."
He released her, turning to stalk away, leaving Lily Rose shaken but resolute.
{FLASHBACKS ENDS}{IN THE PRESENT}
Days passed, and Xavier's silence was deafening. Lily Rose felt the weight of her words, regretting the pain she'd caused.One evening, she ventured into his room, seeking closure and that is why she is here. The space was dimly lit, shadows dancing on the walls.
Xavier entered, startled to find her there. "What are you doing here?" he asked gruffly.
Lily Rose stood, her heart pounding. "I needed to talk to you."
Xavier's expression was guarded, his eyes avoiding hers. "I'm busy."
But Lily Rose persisted. "Aren't you angry with me? For what I said about not being ready for marriage?"
Xavier's gaze snapped back to hers, emotions warring on his face. For an instant, she saw the hurt and anger she'd expected.
But then, his mask slipped back into place. "No," he said curtly, turning to leave.
Lily Rose's voice stopped him. "Xavier, wait."
He paused, his back to her.
"Why are you shutting me out?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Xavier's shoulders tensed, but he didn't turn. "I need time."
The silence between them grew, heavy with unspoken words.
Finally, Xavier vanished into the adjacent room, leaving Lily Rose feeling lost and uncertain.
A sigh escaped her lips. She couldn't change the past, but she could forge a new Future.
Then she left the room, feeling suffocated and broken.
{IN HER ROOM}
Lily Rose sat on her bed, phone in hand, hesitating. She needed guidance, and one person always knew what to say.She dialed her stepmom's number, Linda,affectionately called "Mother Dearest." The third ring was answered with a warm."My dear, how are you?"
Lily Rose's voice poured out, sharing everything: Xavier's proposal, her doubts, and their strained relationship.
Mom Dearest listened attentively, offering occasional murmurs of understanding.
"Come on, sweetie, it is okay" she said finally. "You'll figure this out together."
Lily Rose sighed. "I don't know, Mother dearest. I feel so lost."
"Sometimes, men need space," Mom Dearest advised. "Show Xavier you care, but also assert your boundaries. And, darling, don't be afraid to seduce him...if you want to."
Lily Rose's face flushed. "Gross, Mom!"
Mom Dearest chuckled. "Honey, trust me. Just give him time. Be patient, and let him see that you're not ready yet. That's all."
Lily Rose nodded, even though her mom couldn't see her. "Thanks, Mom. Just talking to you makes me feel better."
"Anytime, baby. Now. See you you soon.bye love" she hung up the phone
Lily Rose smiled, a weight lifting off her shoulders.
Then I decided to do the impossible thing I don't like for a while "SEDUCING"
I went to my dressing room and pick out the most revealing lingerie and I quickly showered and wore it then of course, covered it with robe, before leaving the room
*Good luck, seductive queen* I thought with luck
