CHAPTER 41 SPECIAL DAY

{INSIDE KINGSLEY'S HOME, NIGHT TIME}
Kingsley strolled into the living room, still grinning from his wonderful date with Lotus. But his joy was short-lived. Aeon stood waiting, his eyes blazing with fury.

"Welcome back, Kingsley," Aeon spat, his voice dripping with venom. "I see you had a great time with Lotus."

Kingsley's instincts told him to tread carefully. "Aeon, what's going on?"

But Aeon was beyond reason. With a swift motion, he punched Kingsley in the face, sending him stumbling backward.

"You think you can just waltz in here and steal her heart?" Aeon snarled, his fists flying.

Kingsley tried to defend himself, but Aeon's anger was relentless. They crashed into furniture, sending lamps shattering.

"Stop, Aeon!" Kingsley yelled, but Aeon wouldn't listen.

Just when it seemed Aeon would kill him, he froze, his chest heaving. "You're playing with fire, Kingsley," he growled. "Lotus is mine. If you don't stay away from her, I'll make sure you regret it."

Kingsley wiped blood from his lip. "You can't dictate who Lotus sees, Aeon. She's not your property."

Aeon's eyes narrowed. "You don't understand. I'll do whatever it takes to keep her. Even if it means making a wire for you."

Kingsley's eyes widened in horror. "You wouldn't dare."

Aeon's smile was chilling. "Try me."

As Kingsley stumbled back, his phone buzzed with a frantic text from Lotus: "Kingsley, are you there."

Kingsley hesitated, unsure how much to reveal. But before he could respond, Aeon snatched the phone and typed a message: "Stay away from him, Lotus. He's not worth it."and immediately left the house without glaring at Kingsley.

{INSIDE LOTUS ROSE ROOM}
In a fit of rage, Lotus slammed her phone down on the floor, the screen cracking as it bounced on the hard surface. She had just sent a fiery message to Aeon, telling him to leave Kingsley alone and stop manipulating her feelings. "You're not going to control me, Aeon!" she exclaimed aloud, her voice echoing off the walls.

She stood there, chest heaving, as she glared at the phone as if daring it to buzz with another message from him. But the screen remained dark, the only sound the soft hum of the fan  in the background. Lotus took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down to sleep, but her heart still raced with anger and frustration.

  {MORNING TIME}
Lotus Rose woke up to the warm rays of sunlight peeking through her window. She stretched, feeling a sense of excitement and purpose. As she reached for her phone, she remembered that it was Kingsley's birthday today! She had totally forgotten, but now she was determined to make it special.

She quickly got out of bed and began rummaging through her kitchen, searching for ingredients to bake a cupcake. She settled on a classic vanilla recipe and got to work, measuring out flour, sugar, and vanilla powder. Kingsley loves vanilla.

Once the cupcake was ready, Lotus dressed in a bright yellow sundress, her hair tied up in a ponytail, and headed to the office, and with the cupcake in hand. Since today is casual day at work.

{IN THE MARTINEZ COMPANY}
{INSIDE KINGSLEY'S OFFICE}
When she arrived, she found Kingsley sitting in the office, looking a bit worse for wear. She handed him the cupcake and wished him a happy birthday. Kingsley's face lit up with a smile, and he thanked her for the thoughtful gesture.

Lotus's eyes sparkled with concern. "What happened to you? You look like you've been through a rough night."

Kingsley rubbed his sore jaw, his expression darkening. "Aeon and I had a bit of a run-in last night."

Lotus's eyes widened, but she didn't press the issue. Instead, she smiled and said, "Well, I'm glad I could make your day a little brighter."

Lotus Rose walked deep inside the office, with a bright smile and a box of cupcakes. "Happy Birthday again, may you live longer!" she chimed, setting the treats on his desk.

Kingsley looked up surprised. "Thanks, Lotus! You didn't have to do that."

Lotus Rose waved her hand. "Of course I did! It's your special day."

Aeon watched from across the room, his eyes narrowing as he saw the flirtatious glint in Lotus Rose's eye.

Then she left the office in hurry remember she had to do something, then Lotus Rose pulled out her phone and sent Kingsley a text: "Make a wish!"

Kingsley chuckled and typed out a response: "Already did. Thanks again, Lotus!"

Aeon's jealousy simmered as he saw the exchange. He quickly looked away, trying to focus on his work.

Lotus Rose continued to chat with Kingsley, laughing and joking as they celebrated his birthday. Aeon's eyes kept drifting back to them, his anger growing with each passing minute.

As the party wound down, Lotus Rose sent Kingsley one final text: "Dinner tonight? My treat?"

Kingsley's response came quickly: "Can't wait!"

Aeon's jealousy boiled over as he saw the confirmation. He couldn't take it anymore, storming out of the office to cool off.

{INSIDE AEON'S OFFICE}
Aeon's eyes narrowed as he stared at his phone, Lotus's defiant message at the date still burning a hole in his mind. "She thinks she can ignore me?" he sneered, his voice low and menacing.

He dialed a number, his eyes gleaming with a sinister plan. " Khalid (his personal assistant), I need your help. I'm going to take Lotus Rose, and I need you to make sure no one finds her." Khalid's voice was hesitant on the other end of the line "are you sure about this, sir", but Aeon's tone left no room for argument.

"I'll send you the details. Just be ready." Aeon hung up, his mind racing with the thrill of the kidnapping.

Then he thought of Kingsley: "You'll never see her again."

Then, he switched off his phone and slipped into the shadows, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

"Miss Lotus Rose, I may be young, but that doesn't mean that I am not intelligent." Then Evil laughter echoed in the room.
