"This world can hurt you,
it cuts you deep and leaves a scar. Things fall apart but nothing breaks like a heart."

Athena's green eyes fluttered open to be met with a shining white light. She immediately shut her eyes closed and blinked rapidly to adjust to the brightness. Her head slowly turned to her right seeing a needle in her arm, most likely an IV. She quickly yanked the object out of her as small drops of black blood spilled out.

Athena sat on the side of the white bed as she observed the room. It had white walls, a white door, white sheets, and she was dressed in a white tank top and white leggings. Her feet were bare as she placed them on the cold white tile. Chills went up her spine as the coolness shocked her body.

She winced in pain as she took a deep breath, her hand shot to her abdomen. The white cotton shirt was lifted to reveal a large cut which was now stitched. The wound ran from her upper right ribs to her left hip bone. Bruises were scattered across her pale skin. The blood that stained her was no longer there.

Athena looked up from her body to a mirror. Her eyes slightly widened as she looked at the person starring back at her. Athena looked completely different. Her face was covered in tiny cuts; there was a slash through her right eyebrow. There were two stitches in the wound as Athena's fingered hovered over it. Both of her small hands ran down the sides of her face. She was utterly shocked on how many wounds she had.

She looked at her chest as she saw the scar Bellamy gave her on the dropship the night she defended Lincoln. A man she did not know but still ran to his defense. A man she now knew to be honorable and kind. He was her friend and now she did not know where he was.

Her mind went to her sister, Octavia. The last time she saw her, she had an arrow in her leg. Athena closed her eyes in attempt to steady her breathing. She couldn't cry anymore. As much as she hurt, the time for breaking is over.

Athena turned her body to the right and focused her gaze on the white door. It had a small circular window. She walked towards the door slowly as her hands rested on the steel frame. Her eyes widened as she saw a door identical to hers straight ahead. She recognized the blonde haired girl immediately. Athena banged on the door as she yelled for Clarke. The girls eyes widened as well and mirrored her actions.

Where the hell were they?
