Two more days had passed. Nothing out of the ordinary had happened. The past two sessions had gone quite well despite Seonghwa bursting out in tears as usual. It was tiring to the white haired man, crying so often and so much, but it was a relief to get it all out simultaneously. The man did sleep after the sessions while Hongjoong would do his chores before preparing dinner. It's something he didn't mind.

The previous morning, Hongjoong watched the news again, seeing another house had burned down and killed the owner inside. This time, the owner didn't die alone. He had a wife and a kid, the wife ended up dying inside as well, but the child was nowhere to be found. Of course, he knew who had done this. The assassin woman he had hired. Though he had been unaware of the man having a kid, he knew he had a wife, but not a kid. And also, he thought the woman had told him how she had seen the wife leaving the house before getting to work.

Obviously, it wasn't the plan for the wife to die as well, only the man was supposed to die. The result made Hongjoong angry and he called the woman, going inside the bedroom so Seonghwa wouldn't hear the conversation.

Despite that, the white haired man had managed to hear parts of the conversation because of how loud Hongjoong spoke. It had left him speechless, even hurt a bit. Hearing the man he trusted the most telling about being responsible for someone's death, he didn't know what to think or feel. The green haired man had been one of the people who had hurt and tortured him relentlessly, but his wife died as well and it was all Hongjoong's doing.

Even though the brown haired man technically didn't do anything, he did hire someone to do it. Seonghwa guessed it was because Hongjoong couldn't bring himself to do it. But was that true? He had seen the anger in the man's eyes whenever he spoke about an event that had taken place in the cave. And it wasn't just anger, sometimes it was fury even.

If Hongjoong got angry enough, was he able to bring himself to kill someone? He didn't have red or green hair so wasn't destined to become a criminal, but emotions might be enough to change the system up a bit...

Did this shift the trust? In all honesty, it did a bit. Seonghwa hadn't said much for the rest of the day, mostly during the session and dinner.

Now that it was a new day, Seonghwa was thinking about asking some questions about the call, wanting some answers. After lunch, he finished cleaning the table when Hongjoong turned on the news to see if there were updates. And there was one.

'Yesterday morning, after a house was burned down, killing the owner together with his wife, the police have started a search for the missing kid.' The news reporter explained, 'After checking the camera footage of the area, the officers were able to see the person responsible for the committed arson, and they were accompanied by the child. However, the lack of cameras further, the trace ended. There were no witnesses either. So police have little to no lead to the child's location.'

Hongjoong's eyes narrowed as he watched and listened, he didn't trust this. The woman had told him nothing about the child, so he had no idea where the kid was either. He wanted to go to the police to give the information about the woman, but wasn't for two reasons:

First of all, he needed her for the rest of the plan. Secondly, the police would know he hired her to commit arson and kill the man and wife, he would get arrested for it.

Seonghwa crossed his arms as he listened to the news, glancing over to Hongjoong for a moment and seeing the frustration in the man's eyes. It scared him a little if he was being honest.

"Where do you think that person took the child? And why would they do that?"

The white haired man asked, deciding to see if Hongjoong would reveal anything and be honest about what he had done.
