"going rogue"

Today was Raina's off day from her part time superhero job. Barry let her take the day off unless something big came up. And today she didn't have to go into the precinct until later.

Raina had just waken up in her apartment from the sun shining right in her eyes. An arm wrapped around her pulling her in. "Five more minutes." Marco words muffled burying his face more into Raina's neck.

Raina scoffed pulling Marco's arms off of her ignoring his whines. "Get up, you big baby." She grabbed her pillow and threw it at him.

"Ouch." Marco groaned holding his eye in pain.

Raina shook her head before Marco's phone ranged.

Marco picked up the phone not looking at the name. "Diaz." He tried rubbing away the sleep. Marco quickly got up fear in his eyes. Raina looked at him confused. It was wasn't Marco's phone. "Detective West." Raina quietly gasped covering her mouth with her hands. "Uh, Monroe is right here."

Raina grabbed the phone from Marco. "Hey, Joe." Her voice became high pitch. "What's up."

"What are you and Diaz doing together this morning?"

Raina blew air out her mouth, waving her hands around. "We bumped into each other at the coffee shop, I left my phone with Diaz when I went to go grab my order." Raina closed her eyes and crossed her fingers hoping Joe would believe it or at least fake it.

Joe let out a sigh. "Ok," Raina exhaled never knowing that she was holding her breath. "Anyways, I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news right now."

Raina sighed putting her head down. "What is it?"

Joe hesitated taking a deep breath through the phone. "Leonard Snart is back."

Raina clenched her available hand tight the phone still to her ear. She hated that man. Snart was one of the best robbers of Central City and Raina would always be so close to catching him. Snart has been a real pain in Raina ass for a few years. The dark haired girl quickly grabbed her things. "I'm on the way."

Marco hurried out of Raina's bed grabbing his clothes and followed after the small angry girl while also struggling to put on his clothes.

Raina walked out of the precinct's elevator, Marco cautiously behind her.

"Now remind me why is this guy so important to you?" Marco spoke softer than usual. He didn't want to provoke Raina too much. Fumes were basically coming out of her ears.

Raina turned around taking deep breaths, almost making her want to pass out. "Leonard Snart was my first case. Singh put me on it because he didn't think too much of it when he put a rookie detective on this new case." She continued taking deep breaths. "It took me years to get so close to him, he was right in front of me my gun was already pointed at him. Until he made me chose."
