PRESENT: 7 YEARS LATER
JHANVI'S POV
"Get out of my room!" he shouted, his voice echoing off the walls, cutting through me.
With a heavy heart, I turned, picked up my lehenga, and walked out.
"If you dare to walk out trust me I don't know what I'll do with you tonight", he said.
What the hell is wrong with him? He's the one who told me to get out just a moment ago.
"You just told me to get out of the room", I stated.
He turned and looked intensely into my eyes and came forward closing the gap between us and pinning me to the closed door.
"So, if I ask you to kiss me would you do that?", he asked leaning forward near my face.
I couldn't help but notice how tall and built he has become in these seven years.
"Tell me? Would you do that?", He asked holding my chin.
"Why would I?", I asked trying to increase the distance between us by moving back but he pulled me by my waist.
"Because this is our first night don't you think you have some obligations as my wife?", he whispered in my ears.
His mouth travelled towards my collarbone and he kissed it. The kiss sending different sensations inside my body right now which I don't want.
I pushed him back.
"I'm not your wife", I yelled. I was not supposed to.
He laughed out aloud. The laugh echoed inside the whole room.
"Humein saath phere liye 2 ghante nahi hue aur tum bhul bhi gayi ki humari shaadi hui hai", he said.
(We haven't even been married for two hours and you've already forgotten that we tied the knot)
"Dhoke se ki hai tumne mujhse shaadi", I corrected.
(You tricked me into marrying you)
He just stared at me.
"Jab meri engagement kisi aur see ho rakhi hai , mere haathon mein naam kisi aur ka aur meri shadi bhi aaj kisi aur se he hone wali thi toh mai apne aap ko tumhri patni kese maan lu", I shouted this time.
(When I got engaged to someone else, and someone else's name is written on my hands and I was supposed to marry someone else then how can I consider myself your wife?)
He just chuckled came forward took my hand removed the ring from my finger and threw it.
"Mehndi thode din mei utar jaayegi", he said.
(The mehndi will fade away in a few days)
I stood there still out of words. I have been distancing myself from him for seven years only to be married to him. Tears rolled out of my eyes. The guilt which was slowly fading away is now filled inside me.
"Deepak, why did you do it? Weren't you supposed to marry Srisha?", I asked.
He didn't reply.
"I want a divorce I don't-" Before I could complete my sentence he storms forward gripping both of my wrists and placing them behind my back.
He kisses the hollow of my throat.
"If I hear the word divorce from that pretty mouth of yours then I'll fuck you the whole night until you're not able to walk", he said looking directly into my eyes as I gulped down.
