It was very distinct land which had enormous blossoms all over. The hills were blooming with purple and pink flowers that would deceive anyone into believing that heaven existed.

The valleys were adorned with serpent like rivers that wished to brush off all the sorrows of people living there. The white swans were trapped in there, as if they were oblivious to the real surroundings.
People seemed to be very happy with their lives and they had put up a smile that would lighten the environment , at least temporarily.
It was a small Kingdom of Beauty, The Kingdom of Beautiful Deception. The more beautiful it looked, the uglier it was.

It was a place where people feared each other. One's existence scared another. Women refused to come out of their homes. Superstitious beliefs were widespread and the 'true knowledge' had already lost its significance.

"We are all suffering because of her," A man told another

"Yes  ! It's all because of her birth! Do you remember? We had floods on that day and we lost all the crops, the King has become more cruel after her birth." The man sighed as he looked at the sky

"I don't know what sins we made in our previous birth to suffer all all of this. The Princess Is a Curse For this kingdom" the other said nodding in disappointment

"I wish she dies soon-"

"Why? She has to pay for the sins her father has committed. She should not be in peace. She cannot die so easily"

"You are right"

She was sitting in front of the mirror wearing jewels.

"I am the most beautiful, aren't I ?" Avantika asked the female worker who was standing next to her

"Yes your highness! There's no one to beat your beauty!" She said with her hand joined together

Avantika's eyes travelled to the corridor.

"Mitra! Come here!" She ordered

The young crying girl child was wearing simple clothes and she hurried towards Princess Avantika

"Mitra! I know that father beat you up heavily. But what could I do? Even I was scared. You know right how much Di(referring to herself as her elder sister) is scared of father?
I'm really sorry little sister! I always fail to help you out in when you need me the most" Avantika said as she patted her younger sister's cheeks

"I know di. I know you love me. Don't worry di" the little girl said and wiped her sister's crocodile tears

"You are not at fault di! I know. I love you di!" The seven year old hugged her sister tight.
