Narrator's POV:

"Let's go, Anueng." P'Fah said, walking into their house.

She nodded and turned back to the other two adults with smiles.

"Please take care of Ar'Nueng, make sure she gets back home safely." Anueng told Chet.

He nodded with a smile. "Of course. I will."

She nodded back satisfied and turned to look at Khun Nueng with a loving look and wrapped her arms around her

"Goodnight Ar'Nueng." She mumbled into my shoulder.

"Goodnight." The Sippakorn whispered, subtly placing a quick kiss on her head.

She stepped back and smiled sweetly at her before looking at Chet and nodding to him before turning fully to go back inside.

He watched his daughter in admiration and Khun Nueng shook her head, turning away and started back to her condo.

"Oh! Khun Nueng, wait for me!" He called and quickly caught up to her.

There was silence as we walked, nothing but the sound of cook air brushing against trees and bushes.

Khun Nueng enjoyed the quiet serene, but if course it was soon broken.

"You and Anueng are very close...how did you do it?" Chet asked intently.

"How did I come to be so close to her?" Khun Nueng questioned carefully.

Chet nodded his head in affirmation.

"Mmm. She came to me at first, wanting me to draw her. I thought nothing of her at first, but then she kept coming back frequently, begging for my attention. She said she didn't have any friends at that time, and said that she wanted to get to know me. I pitied her a little, so I amused her and told her small details about myself. Soon she came everyday asking for more drawings, and we chatted between them, learning more about each as days when on. I learned that she was special, a very cute kid. She grew on me...the rest is history."

Chet listened intently as Khun Nueng rambled.

She told him somewhat of the truth.

Although Khun Nueng didn't pity the girl when they first met, she was annoyed by her greatly, but Chet didn't need to know that, or Anueng's attempts at viciously courting the Sippakorn to no end.

=======

Khun Nueng didn't even have a minute to herself because as soon as she stepped inside her apartment her phone instantly started ringing.

She sighed, knowing exactly who that was.

Did she want to answer it? No.

Did she have to? Yes?

Khun Nueng didn't know if not picking up the phone would change something in the future but she really didn't want to find out.

She answered the phone with a sigh. "Hello?"

"Khun Nueng, you didn't keep up your end of the deal! You said you would get her to hate you so she would move to live with me! I went to talk to her about it but she refused." P'Fah started to rant.

"I'm not a puppet, P'Fah. I didn't even agree to do that." Khun Nueng countered.

P'Fah huffed on the other line but Khun Nueng kept going.
