Khun Nueng's POV:

I looked through the books on the shelf as Anueng clung to my side like glue.

"You know, you could help and not just stare at me, Nueng."

"I'd rather look at you than books, Ar'Nueng. Your way more interesting." Anueng smiled slyly.

I rolled my eyes playfully.

"We're here to study, remember?"

I handed her the stack of books I collected and she pouted in return.

"But I've been studying everyday! Doesn't my brain need a break?" She whined.

"An hour, that all. Then your done for the day, ok? I have something special planned after."

"Oh?! What is it?" She asked, bouncing excitedly, suddenly filled with energy.

"Can't tell you, that would ruin the surprise. You just have to wait and see."

Anueng huffed, glaring up at me.

Cute.

"Come on, grouchy."

I led her to the table and helped her spread out her study papers and guides.

"I'm going to make short notes for you. If you don't understand something just ask me for help ok?"

Anueng nodded in response.

"And don't forget to go back through and read it again if you can't remember. Here."

I showed her one of the books I chose to go through and study over.

"Start from..this page. If you don't understand anything you read just mark it. Ok?"

"Ka!" Anueng smiled, taking the book.

Anueng has dosed off a few times but after passing most of the quizzes I tested her on with a hundred percent accuracy I deemed her studying to be done.

"What's the surprise?! Come on, at least give me a hint." She pouted.

"You'll know soon enough." I chuckled.

We had already left the library and now I was driving us to the hidden destination.

"Not even a hint? Hmp! So mean." Anueng crossed her arms and faced the window in mock anger.

I just smiled and continued until I stopped at a small clearing by some trees.

Are we...going into the forest?" Anueng asked.

I hummed as I unlocked the doors and the trunk and got out. "Come on."

Anueng stayed quiet as she followed me to the back of the car, then gasped.

"A picnic?!" She exclaimed in excitement, eyeing the basket and blankets.

"Yes." I smiled, grabbing the items.

"I figured that you needed a break from studying, and I know your hungry as well so this came to mind. I also just wanted to spend more time with you."

Anueng gave me a beaming smile as her eyes shined with affection.
