Ep. 3 (2-6:28/4)Dating Simulator for beginners.
Just to not cause confusion because their names are so similar. I wrote that only Khun Nueng calls Anueng 'Nueng', and also 'My Nueng', as a name of endearment. And only Khun Nueng's Grandmother calls her Nueng, nobody else. That is all.
_________________________________________Narrator's POV:
Khun Nueng sat anxiously, waiting for Anueng, her left leg bouncing in anticipation.
If her hypothesis is correct, and that she wasn't in fact going insane, Anueng would be coming here; the bus stop.
She continuously rubbed her palms on her pants, trying to calm herself down.
Was she this nervous the first time?
No. She was anxious.
She remembers what she said to Anueng prior and she wanted to slap herself.
That was going to be the last time she hurt her Nueng.
She was going to be better. She wasn't going to push her way. She was going to apologize, and do it correctly.
She wasn't going to outright tell the girl she loves her, but show her affection to her in subtle ways. More than she did the first time.
Telling her girl she loved her this early would probably scare her...
Or Anueng would most likely double down and force Khun Nueng to elope together to another country to get married.
Either way it wouldn't be right. Khun Nueng has to remind herself that Anueng hasn't turned 21 yet.
Slow and steady wins the race she supposed.
Just as she halted her mind from overthinking she caught sight of Anueng and her heart raced.
She was really here.
Not hurt. Not in a hospital.
She was here, walking and unharmed.
Khun Nueng felt her eyes swell up with tears.
My Nueng is here. She's ok.
Anueng was walking with a slump, lips pursed and head cast down in sadness.
Khun Nueng felt her heart wrench.
She was the reason for Anueng's sadness. It made her feel dirty.
She was hesitant on how to approach her, how she should act. She didn't want to come on too strong, but also didn't want to beat around the bush like last time either.
Khun Nueng was so lost in thought that she hadn't noticed that Anueng had caught sight of her and quickly turned to run away.
Khun Nueng's eyes widened and she quickly grabbed the drawing and raced over to her.
"Wait, Nueng!"
She grabbed the younger girl's arm and felt a jolt of electricity shoot up her own arm.
Anueng halted in her tracks but didn't turn around.
They stood there in silence as Khun Nueng racked up what to say.
Wait, why am I thinking so hard about this? Just apologize!
Khun Nueng slid her hand down Anueng's arms and held her hand lightly, stroking her thumb against her knuckles.
"I'm sorry."
Anueng slowly turned around to meet Khun Nueng's eyes, and Khun Nueng let go of her hand, not wanting to seem touchy.
