—GIGGLES WERE HEARD throughout the castle walls as jaehaera rushed through the long halls that held bronze runestone banners along side them.
jaehaera was playing hide and seek with her uncle, ainsley. earlier, the girl had cried as she missed her mother, who was on a hunt and ainsley had decided to cheer her up and play with her.
her little legs ran as fast as they can, which is not very fast, as she tried to find a hiding space.
she turned a corner but she let out a yelp and fell backwards, onto her butt when she bumped into someone.
"ow!" the silver haired girl exclaimed dramatically.
she looked up, wanting to see who she bumped into but only to freeze.
the man infront of her was scruffy and wore clothes that mostly hid his appearance, but jaehaera could see a mass of silver hair underneath his hood.
"hello little one." the man greeted, making jaehaera feel disturbed and suspicious. he crouched down as he seemingly looked at the girl before him.
her mother had taught her not to talk to strangers but she suppose just one time is okay, as she was in her mother's castle and nothing would happen to her while she was here, right?
"hello strange person." she greeted back, eyeing the man's appearance. a small smile found its way onto her lips, finding her own words funny.
she heard the man let out a chuckle. she watched as he reached up and pulled down his hood, revealing slick back silver hair, similar to jaehaera's but jaehaera's was much prettier.
she gasped in excitement and shock as she sat up straighter and examined his hair, "you have silver hair too?" jaehaera asked out the obvious.
