SIX name day
—JAEHAERA LOOKED UP from her book as she heard a knock come from outside her chamber doors.
"what is it?" she called out as she shut her book, aegon's conquest, and stood up from her chair.
a knight came in with a stoic face and said, "princess jaehaera, princess rhaenyra has requested for your presence in her chambers."
over time, rhaenyra had warmed up to the young girl and they grew close, jaehaera even declaring her as one of her favourite people.
jaehaera was confused but nodded, "as she wishes." she mumbled before walking out of her chambers. she felt the eyes of her knight, from the kingsgaurd. jaehaera never paid much attention to him and probably will never, unless she needed something ofcourse.
jaehaera started walking with her knight and rhaenyra's knight trailing behind. she walked down stairs, being careful to lift up her dress a little bit to not trip.
she finally arrived at rhaenyra's chambers and knocked of the door before walking in without waiting for permission to come in.
"rhaenyra?" jaehaera called out when she couldn't see rhaenyra but she examined her chambers. she took a few steps in and looked around.
rhaenyra's chambers were far bigger than hers and much more neater and jaehaera's eyes widened in amazement. jaehaera guessed it was slightly bigger than the queen's chambers.
"jaehaera." a voice said behind her, starting her and making her whirl around, only to see rhaenyra.
rhaenyra grinned as she saw the shocked expression and let out a small laugh.
"rhaenyra," jaehaera sight out in relief that it was only just her, "you scared me."
rhaenyra raised a teasing brow, "oh really?" she teased, remembering the young girls shocked look.
jaehaera playfully rolled her eyes but a wide smile was on her lips, "what did you want me for?" jaehaera asked, finally asking what she wanted to in the first place.
