SEVEN the princess and the queen
—"EXACTLY HOW LONG did it take you to climb the black dread?" jaehaera asked the king as the both of them walked to the queen's chambers.
earlier, they were both told of the princess's labour and the queen's request for the princess to come to her chambers right after labour. the king and princess had seen eachother while walking to the queen's chambers and decided to converse.
"it was like climbing a mountain." viserys replied excitedly.
he was excited since his daughter had just gave birth and someone was finally asking him about his experience with the black dread.
"how did it feel?" jaehaera asked, as much as excited as him. she wasn't excited because she was talking to the king, she was excited to talk about the magnificent black dread.
a small smile rested on her face as she thought about dragons, tamed ones, wild ones.
"it felt awakening, like something inside of me came free and gave me joy." the king said, letting out a breathless short laugh after.
jaehaera let out a laugh with him, she had no clue why he was laughing but to make it not awkward she laughed with him.
jaehaera held mixed feelings towards the king, while she didn't hate him, she didn't exactly like him. she wasn't exactly sure why but perhaps it was how he ignored alicent's children, that are his, and favoured rhaenyra more.
but jaehaera didn't really like anyone who wasn't alicent, her children, rhaenyra and her children.
jaehaera was a teenager with a mature mind.
"ah, we're here." jaehaera exclaimed before they walked through the doors of the queen's chambers. the first person to come in jaehaera's sight was the queen.
