"Is it this kid?"

A young man, about twenty-five or twenty-six years old, glanced at Li Yu, dusted off his sleeves, and stepped into the small shop.

"Yes, Young Master Seventh, it's this kid."

The sallow-faced middle-aged man pointed at Li Yu and bowed obsequiously to the young master. "Young Master Seventh, this boy is arrogant and doesn't take our Li family seriously!"

"Doesn't take the Li family seriously? Hmph!"

Young Master Seventh of the Li family sneered disdainfully, glancing at Li Yu and curling his lips in contempt.

"Daring to meddle in the Li family's affairs, I thought he'd be someone important! No spiritual energy, no opened Bitter Sea, just a mere mortal!"

Young Master Seventh's gaze shifted to the bell on Li Yu's waist, and he sneered again. "Wang Xiaoer said this was a treasure? Hah! Such dim spiritual light, clearly a low-grade trinket!"

His gaze turned to Tingting.

"Hmm? In just two years, this little girl has grown quite pretty."

A strange look appeared in Young Master Seventh's eyes, and a faint smile curled his lips. "Alright, since I knew your parents, I'll give you a chance. Little girl, follow me, and when you grow up, you can be my concubine."

"Li, don't go too far!"

The old man clutched Tingting, glaring at Young Master Seventh with fiery eyes.

"Too far? You, a mere mortal, know nothing. Following me, the little girl will enjoy endless wealth and glory. It's far better than suffering with you! This is my benevolence; don't be ungrateful."

Young Master Seventh sneered, his eyes turning cold.

"Are you done talking? If you're done, get lost!"

Li Yu found the arrogant Young Master Seventh extremely distasteful. Just a Bitter Sea stage cultivator, yet acting so pompously, was utterly absurd.

"Ha! I haven't even dealt with you, yet you're already eager to die?"

Young Master Seventh glared at Li Yu, a venomous smile on his thin lips. "Since you're in such a hurry to die, I'll oblige."

"Swish!"

A flash of silver light erupted.

A half-foot-long silver dart shot out like lightning, aimed straight at Li Yu.

"Watch out!"

The old man cried out in alarm, rushing forward to shield Li Yu with his own body.

"No need for that."

Li Yu smiled, gently pulling the old man behind him, showing no concern for the incoming dart, not even bothering to move.

"Whoosh!"

The silver dart struck Li Yu's chest hard, but...

It didn't even ruffle his clothes. The silver dart melted away like ice in a furnace, instantly turning into a wisp of smoke and dissipating.

"What... what is this..."

Young Master Seventh was dumbfounded, unable to speak for a moment.

"Elder, you didn't need to do that."

Ignoring Young Master Seventh, Li Yu turned to the old man. "Elder, I am not afraid of him; there's no need for you to worry."

"You have helped me. Seeing my benefactor in danger, how could I stand by and do nothing?"

The old man looked at Li Yu with sincere gratitude, despite his age still full of courage.

"Truly a descendant of the Great Emperor."

Li Yu admired the old man inwardly. Even without power, he could stand tall in times of crisis. A direct descendant of the Great Emperor indeed had remarkable qualities.

"Hahaha! I understand! I understand now!"

Suddenly, Young Master Seventh laughed maniacally, his eyes gleaming as he stared at Li Yu like he had discovered a treasure.

"So your robe is the real treasure! Hahaha! Such luck! I come home and a treasure falls into my lap. Truly, I am blessed!"

Young Master Seventh laughed, his eyes fixed on Li Yu. "Boy, hand over the treasure and I might spare your life. Otherwise... one spell from me and you'll be ashes."

"Tsk, tsk!"

Li Yu shook his head in disdain. "Letting you buzz around like a fly was my mistake. It's time to correct that."

"You're courting death!"

Young Master Seventh, infuriated, flung a multicolored mist towards Li Yu.

"A fly is just a fly."

Li Yu shook his head. "A breath can annihilate you."

He blew gently at Young Master Seventh. It was a simple breath, like any normal person might exhale.

No fierce winds, no stormy clouds, no grand spectacle. Just a gentle breeze.

Yet, this gentle breath dispersed the multicolored mist instantly.

And then it reached Young Master Seventh.

"Ahhh!"

A horrifying scream erupted from Young Master Seventh as smoke billowed from his body, and he seemed to dissolve into the air.

In an instant, Young Master Seventh vanished into smoke, blown away by the wind.

"Ahh!"

"What kind of sorcery is this?"

"Ghosts!"

The lackeys Young Master Seventh had brought screamed in terror and fled.

"Young man, this..."

The old man was also taken aback by this display, finding Li Yu's abilities utterly astonishing.

"Just a spell, nothing impressive."

Li Yu waved dismissively.

Indeed, it wasn't a profound technique, just a simple "wind-calling" spell. But Li Yu used the power of the Emperor's Heart to cast it.

The Emperor's Heart was the source of the Azure Emperor's power, containing emperor-level divine power. Even using a minuscule fraction of it was beyond what someone like Young Master Seventh could withstand.

"So you are this powerful, young man!"

The old man, having seen some of the world due to his children's cultivation, understood the significance.

Young Master Seventh wasn't weak enough to be killed by a mere breath.

The only explanation was that Li Yu was extraordinarily powerful!

"I cannot thank you enough for your great kindness."

The old man, filled with emotion, had tears in his eyes.

The deaths of his son and daughter-in-law were likely related to the Li family. As an old man with a young granddaughter, he had been powerless against the Li family's bullying.

He never imagined meeting Li Yu and having a chance for vengeance.

"Heaven is just!"

The old man clutched Li Yu's hand, tears streaming down his face.
