Zhou Yi skillfully maneuvered through the dense forest.

With his newly acquired jungle survival experience, Zhou Yi navigated the terrain with ease and agility. He leaped forward, grabbed a vine, and swung effortlessly to a nearby tree branch.

"Haha! Just like Tarzan!" Zhou Yi felt elated, pushing off with his feet and launching himself through the air. He grabbed a branch, which bent under his weight but then snapped back, propelling him forward.

"Yoo-hoo!" he shouted, flipping through the air before landing on another tree.

"This jungle survival experience is incredible. It feels like I've come home. This is amazing!" Zhou Yi laughed heartily, launching himself into the air once more.

A moment later, he landed at the base of a cliff.

"According to the survival experience, there should be Red Pillar Fruit growing here."

After scanning the area beneath the cliff, Zhou Yi found the Red Pillar Fruit hidden behind a large rock in the shade.

"There it is."

Bending down, he picked the fruit. As he held it in his hand, a thought suddenly flashed through his mind, making him shiver.

"Red Pillar Fruit speeds up molting? What the hell? I'm not a snake; why would I molt? Where did that thought come from?"

Zhou Yi stared at the fruit, blinking in confusion.

"How could I have such a thought? How do I know the Red Pillar Fruit has molting properties? Damn! Could it be..."

Zhou Yi's expression changed. He quickly asked the spirit of the Heavenly Book, "Heavenly Book Spirit, where did this jungle survival experience come from? Is there some side effect? Does the system exchange have side effects?"

The spirit of the Heavenly Book couldn't answer and instead forwarded the question to Li Yu, freezing up again in the process.

"Hey, hey! Why aren't you responding? Dead again?"

Zhou Yi suddenly felt that this "Supreme Heavenly Book" system seemed somewhat unreliable.

"Hmm?"

Li Yu, holding a bowl of soy milk and munching on a doughnut, was taken aback when he heard the Heavenly Book Spirit's question relayed through the system connection.

"System, when you extracted survival and combat experience from beasts and monsters, did you leave residual consciousness? Didn't you clean it up properly?"

"The user did not specify particular requirements. The system defaulted to extracting all beneficial experiences."

"What the hell, this is ridiculous!"

Li Yu was dumbfounded. According to this explanation, the so-called jungle survival experience and stealth skills had no distinction between human and beast. This wasn't experience; it was a massive trap!

Encountering a beast, the experience might suggest flying away—except humans can't fly! Or roaring to scare off an opponent. Even marking territory with urine?

This kind of experience was a trap of epic proportions!

"Better not get Zhou Yi killed by this. I need to find a way to fix this."

Alright, as a novice system supplier, Li Yu admitted he lacked experience. If a product had quality issues, it needed to be fixed. Li Yu believed he should be a conscientious, ethical businessman.

"Roar!"

Before Li Yu could address the product quality, Zhou Yi was already in trouble.

A giant serpent, as thick as a barrel and over thirty feet long, roared as it charged at him. The crimson crest on its head blazed like fire.

"Crested Fire Serpent? This thing can spit venom and shoot flames from its crest."

Seeing the serpent approach, Zhou Yi's heart raced, but countless responses flooded his mind.

"Leap into the air, attack from above? Use claws to tear its crest? Bite its weak spot? Grab its tail and smash it into the ground? What the hell are these thoughts?"

The various notions in his mind drowned out his own instincts. Only when the serpent's fanged mouth was upon him did Zhou Yi roll away with a startled cry, narrowly avoiding the attack.

"Damn it!"

Zhou Yi was furious and panicked. He quickly drew the short sword Li Yu had given him and slashed at the serpent.

A flash of silver split the air.

"Ding!"

The spirit weapon, a Sea of Bitterness-level blade, struck the serpent's scales, sending sparks flying but failing to penetrate.

"Can't even cut through its scales? How strong is this thing?"

His mind was again flooded with contradictory thoughts. Some suggested the serpent was easy prey, while others insisted it was too dangerous and he should flee.

"Shit! What kind of nonsense is this?"

Zhou Yi cursed, turning to run.

Through the system connection, Li Yu saw and heard everything. Even his thick skin couldn't hide his embarrassment.

"Zhou Yi, it wasn't me who screwed you over. The system screwed us both."

Li Yu muttered, shaking his head, "This product has quality issues. I'll upgrade you for free this time. Maybe even give you a discount on the next exchange?"

The fleeing Zhou Yi had no idea this was related to Li Yu. If he did, Li Yu's status as his master would be severely questioned.

"System, re-extract experience. Based on human perspectives, using Zhou Yi as the template, recompose various skills."

The system swiftly completed the extraction and composition.

Seeing the newly refined experience and skills, Li Yu shook his head slightly. "This was my oversight. Zhou Yi, I'll solve your immediate problem."

"System, connect to the Supreme Heavenly Book, update the experience and skill exchanges."

"Heavenly Book Spirit, tell Zhou Yi to exchange for a one-time Six-Syllable Mantra skill. System, channel some of the Soul Shattering Bell's energy into this skill to kill the serpent."

Li Yu's rapid instructions were promptly executed.

"Your Majesty, you can use your remaining energy points to exchange for a one-time skill, the 'Ba' syllable of the Six-Syllable Mantra. It will kill this serpent."

"Hmm? Heavenly Book Spirit? You're back online?"

Zhou Yi barely dodged a fiery strike from the Crested Fire Serpent, which singed his clothes. Hearing the spirit's voice, he hesitated.

"Exchange! Exchange!"

Despite the earlier mishap, Zhou Yi knew now wasn't the time to argue. He quickly called for the exchange.

"Exchange initiated."

A surge of power flowed into Zhou Yi, forcing his mouth open in a thunderous shout.

"Ba!"

The resounding word shook the air. An invisible wave swept out, and the mighty Crested Fire Serpent convulsed before collapsing.

"Phew! Finally got it."

Zhou Yi patted his chest, feeling his heart pound wildly. He took a deep breath.

"Stay calm! Stay calm! I'm destined to be a great emperor. This level of danger is nothing."
