The Fire Domain was far from Yan Country. Even with Li Yu flying at top speed, it took him a day and a night to reach it.
"No wonder it's called the Fire Domain. These flames are terrifying!"
Seeing the sea of flames ahead, Li Yu couldn't help but click his tongue in amazement.
For a hundred miles, flames churned, turning half the sky red. Even from a distance, waves of heat assaulted him. The ground beneath his feet was blackened and cracked from the intense heat, causing Li Yu to break out in a sweat.
"How long has this fire been burning? And it never goes out?"
Activating the system's resource recovery function, the heat waves approaching Li Yu were absorbed by the system.
Finding it manageable, Li Yu confidently walked towards the Fire Domain.
The Fire Domain had nine layers. The first layer Li Yu encountered was filled with red flames.
"Lava ground fire? Are you kidding me? Where's the lava? There's only fire here."
Hearing the system's prompt, Li Yu couldn't help but complain.
Fortunately, his complaints didn't affect the system's ability to absorb the flames. Invisible waves swept out, and the surrounding flames were sucked into a massive vortex, continuously being collected by the system.

Starting from the fourth layer, Li Yu became increasingly cautious.
The chilling Nine Netherworld Ghost Fire was eerie and disorienting, as if it messed with his senses.
Fortunately, Li Yu didn't need to face the ghost fire directly. Just being nearby was enough for the system to absorb it, which reassured him.
The Sun True Fire was fierce and intimidating, making his heart pound with fear.
The Heavenly Mystery Purple Fire was awe-inspiring, exuding an aura that commanded respect.
The Five Elements True Fire could burn through anything. If not for Li Yu's quick reflexes, his hair would have been singed. As it was, he lost a pair of boots.
After changing his boots, he moved on to the Seven Emotions Heart Fire, which nearly drove him mad.
The Seven Emotions Fire ignited human desires. If not for the system guarding his mind, Li Yu would have been consumed by his own emotions upon nearing the flames.
Even so, Li Yu found himself revisiting old memories—his first love, heartbreak, the loss of loved ones, life's frustrations—all making him cry uncontrollably.
The ninth layer's Invisible Immortal Fire... well, Li Yu inched his way forward.
This fire was invisible. If he walked into it blindly, even the system might not save him.
Moving bit by bit, with the system constantly guiding him, Li Yu finally reached the most intense fire region.
Although the system displayed the fire's location in his mind, the Invisible Immortal Fire constantly shifted, lacking any fixed shape.
Living up to its name, it truly was formless, unseen, and untouchable.
Despite its formidable nature, it was still a mere flame and couldn't escape being collected.
"Phew! Finally done."
Li Yu exhaled heavily, feeling utterly exhausted.

Looking at the now fireless Fire Domain, Li Yu smiled in satisfaction.

Li Yu stood with his hands behind his back, adopting a compassionate expression.

Scanning his surroundings, Li Yu noticed a patch of ground that had been vitrified into glass-like material.
"Leaving a mark behind is a tradition. I should write something."
Walking to the glassy ground, Li Yu used a wisp of sword energy to carve out a line of characters.
"In the past, I refined pills here and carelessly left a spark, which caused this calamity. This is my fault. Today, I have collected the fire to rectify my mistake."
"Time to go! No point showing off when there's no one around."
After finishing the inscription, Li Yu chuckled, flew up, and vanished into the sky.
Hours later, a dark figure streaked across the sky, landing in the remains of the Fire Domain.
"Isn't this the Fire Domain?"
A man in his fifties, dressed in a feather-adorned robe, surveyed the area.
"Isn't this the Fire Domain? Where's the fire? Where's the fire? Caw! Caw! Caw!"
The man, enraged, circled the Fire Domain remains, squawking like a crow.
"Damn it! Where's the fire?"
"Without the supreme fire from the Fire Domain, how will I forge my divine bell? Damn it, why has the Fire Domain disappeared?"
"Agh!"
The Crow Daoist squawked, running frantically through the remains until he spotted Li Yu's inscription, which made him shiver.
