A new kid at the Hermes Cabin

It was the start of the summer, after five years here, it was normal to have the campers coming back. As always, the Hermes cabin was full of kids. As one of the youngest, I always find it fun especially watching some of my siblings (Hi, Travis and Connor) playing pranks on others. But this summer was going to change our lives. It was the second weeks of summer camp, when in the middle of the night I woke after another nightmare, everyone in the cabins was sleeping, but I heard noises outside. Obviously, as a respected Hermes child, I snuck out to see what was happening. That's how I heard about Percy Jackson for the first time. This boy who had just killed the Minotaur and that I would hear about by Annabeth for the next days. But at this exact moment, I didn't really care, as an injured demigod wasn't odd, so I went back to bed.

The next day, Annabeth took Percy to our cabins, which clearly wasn't great news for us as they weren't any free bed and half of the campers were sleeping on the floor. Everyone was kind of disappointed that he was an unclaimed but as always Luke calmed us down. I was surprised to see how clueless this kid was, like seriously he asked how long will it be before he gets claimed. I truly felt bad for the one who were unclaimed for a few years. But at least he made us laugh.

Next time I heard from him was from Clarisse, the damn kid splashed water on her and her siblings. I never saw her quite angry, and I can tell as I almost saw her break someone arms a few months prior. She was talking about revenge, so I chose to let her deal with this. That's how I ended with Annabeth talking about the Capture the flag. As always, the Hermes were going to team up with the Athena as much as I didn't like being against the Ares. Like did they saw them punch someone because I did, and I don't want to be the one taking it. But whatever, the next day, we had to win that game and I had to trust Annabeth's plan.

As always, they were two teams and as always, I was in the blue team with the Athena and Apollo while the others were on the red team with the Ares. The plan was trusting Annabeth and staying away from Clarisse's spear. It was pretty simple. I was staying with my brothers, Luke and Chris as they were treating me like a little baby. All was going well, I mean we only cross a few Ares and no Clarisse, so it was good news. And we won. You may think how did they win like we never beat the Ares, but Clarisse was actually more interested in her revenge after Percy than protecting the flag. Next moment, an Underworld dog appeared in the camp as I was discussing with Clarisse's brother, Sherman. But Chiron sent him back. And that's at this moment that Percy got claimed by his father, Poseidon, God of the sea. Which shouldn't have happened since the big three supposedly had a pact to not have children. Pact broke by Zeus with Thalia's birth and apparently by Poseidon.

Days later, Percy got sent on a quest (a stupid and dangerous things that everyone wants to go on, well except me) with Annabeth and Grover. He had to retrieve the master bolt before the summer solstice which was supposed to be stolen by Percy himself. All of this in the hope of stopping the war coming between Poseidon and Zeus.
