Winter's P.O.V

When I regained consciousness, the first thing I noticed was the soft, persistent hum of the machine, now much quieter. My head throbbed slightly, and I blinked a few times to clear the fog from my mind.

Lifting my head, I squinted against the light filtering through the slightly opened door of the machine. "When did it become this bright in the room?" I muttered, pushing myself up to sit. Curiosity piqued, I reached out and pushed the door fully open. Instead of the sterile environment of the lab, I was greeted by a scene of lush greenery.

Before me stretched a vast expanse of grassy meadows dotted with wildflowers, their colors vivid against the backdrop of towering trees. The air was crisp, with a hint of chill that spoke of early fall. Sunlight filtered through the canopy above, dappling the ground with patches of warmth and shadow. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves, creating a soothing melody that seemed to calm my racing thoughts.

I stepped cautiously out of the machine, my bare feet sinking slightly into the soft grass. Each blade felt alive beneath my touch, as if welcoming me into this unexpected oasis. Butterflies flitted lazily among the flowers, their delicate wings casting fleeting shadows on the ground. In the distance, I could hear the faint trickle of a stream, its waters glistening invitingly under the sunlight.

The landscape seemed untouched by human hands, a pristine wilderness waiting to be explored. As I stood there, taking in the breathtaking beauty around me, I couldn't help but marvel at the machine's capabilities. Had I been transported to another place entirely, or was this some elaborate simulation created by the machine's programming?

Then, as I moved forward, I stumbled over a rock, jolting me back to reality. Pain shot through my ankle, reminding me of the solidity of the ground beneath me.

(Winter wondering where she is)

"Where am I?" I groaned inwardly, struggling to get up. Every inch of my body ached as I rose and surveyed my surroundings. I found myself surrounded by an endless army of towering trees, their bare branches reaching into a gray sky. It was bitterly cold, the wind cutting through my hair and clothes, sending shivers down my spine.

Last I remembered, it hadn't been this cold in Seoul. It was supposed to be summer, not this wintry chill that gripped the air.

"Damn it, where am I?" I muttered aloud, my breath visible in the frosty air. I fumbled for my phone, pulling it from the pocket of my lab coat. "What kind of experiment did Giselle make me do?"

Confusion clouded my mind as I tried to piece together what had happened. The last thing I recalled was stepping into the strange, metallic contraption she had built in the lab—an experiment she claimed would change everything.

"You sure this is safe Gigi?" I asked

"Yea! My ae said this is 100% safe and is proven to work. I just need you to umm... try it" She says smiling and beside her Ningning smiles suspiciously.
