Winter's P.O.V

It was morning, and I woke up with a gnawing hunger in my belly, a reminder of the sparse and uncertain meals in captivity. Counting the minutes as they passed slowly, I knew the workers wouldn't bring food promptly. Eventually, a tray appeared, containing only bread and water—dry sustenance, but the only meal allotted to us prisoners in this stark place.

Taking each bite with measured gratitude, I savored the simple nourishment, knowing it was vital for survival amidst the challenges of confinement

Taking each bite with measured gratitude, I savored the simple nourishment, knowing it was vital for survival amidst the challenges of confinement. Though humble and plain, the bread and water sustained me, a stark contrast to the feast of music and moments shared with Queen Jimin just hours before.

After the impromptu music session last night, Queen Jimin kept requesting song after song, each selection bringing a new light to her eyes. Now, my phone's battery was down to 88%, but the joy it brought her made it worth every moment.

Seeing her smile, radiant and genuine, was like discovering a priceless masterpiece in a museum. It was as if every curve of her lips, every sparkle in her eyes, painted a portrait of warmth and delight that filled the room with an enchanting glow. Her enthusiasm for the music, her laughter at the lyrics, and the way her presence transformed the solemn hall into a haven of shared happiness—all of it made my heart swell with a tenderness I hadn't expected.

I finished my meager meal and settled back, gazing out of the small window. The chilly air of fall seeped through the cracks, causing me to shiver involuntarily. The chains around my wrists and ankles felt colder than usual, a constant reminder of my confinement and the limitations it imposed on my movements.

Outside, the world carried on with its usual rhythm, oblivious to the solitude and chill that gripped me within these walls. I watched the leaves fluttering in the breeze, their vibrant colors a stark contrast against the gray stone of the fortress. Despite the cold and the chains, a quiet resilience filled me, a determination to endure this hardship with patience and fortitude.

As I continued to stare into the distance, a fleeting image of Queen Jimin's smile crossed my mind, warming me momentarily against the chill of the autumn air and the weight of my captivity.
