charlottes pov

i started with... my parents are part of the mafia.  I understand if you don't want to be associated with me anymore but you cant tell anyone. The people in our house just now I can only assume where here to kill us and I'm sure they where my parents biggest rivals wanting to get back at my parents for a offer my parents turned. There deal was to have me marry one of there sons and join our mafias together but everyone knows that there mafia is crumbling, that was one of the reasons they turned it down the other was to keep me out of there grasps they where very cruel and women where just objects to their family.

char looks at me in shock and says I would never leave you no matter what and I cant believe a falling mafia empire is getting so offending over a amazing mafia empire not wanting to marry off there amazing daughter. I reply with yh well that's what they are like i reach my arms out offering to give Darcy a hug which she thankfully accepted and continued with you know to much that would never work in my favor both of us beside our self's laughing when we hear another bang. we both freeze and I tip toe over to check the cameras to see more men with weapons I gasp as I see the boy I was supposed to marry ad point him out to Darcy who fake gags we both chuckle at this till we hear what they say; I'm not interested in the char girl I'm interested in her best friend find them. so this was our fears complete we now knew who it was and who they were after that I'm pulled from my thought's as they say if you find the daughter just kill her we both freeze in fear looking at each other slowly we grab bullet proof vests and some guns ammo and some knives if worst comes to worst. I whisper to Darcy that I'm going to call my parents while not taking my eyes of the door I do just that, when my mum picks up I say they don't want the finger for me but they do want my ghost whereas they want someone else once I said this my mum just says follow our mottos and you'll be fine I have to go now I love you sweetheart. I whisper I love you bye and address Darcy who kept her eyes on the door but with a questioning look on her face I explain what our mottos are only Darcy taking her eyes of the door as she go's to look at the cameras and huffs in annoyance that the main ones had been covered but looks through the really subtle ones but sees no trace of people being there which she interrupts me to tell me just that we are about to put down our weapons when we hear something hit against something and yelling cazzo (fuck) Darcy looks really confused asking what they said I answer it means fuck there Italian she nods as if trying to add that to memory I was about to question it when I hear someone yelling where is my principessa (princess) I quickly glace over to Darcy who has a disgusted look on her face and went pale looking as if she where actually going to throw up I cant stop myself from laughing as Darcy shoots me a death stare then goes back to staring at the door. my brain then clicks and I talk out loud wait how did she know what principessa meant I've never told her it which Darcy now looks rather sheepish and says oh I just guessed it sounds a lot like princess to which I respond fare but I don't push it anymore, that's when we hear sirens approaching and sigh out of relief but we still remain on high alert when we hear more people enter we both tensed till we heard them yelling police drop your weapons and that's when the shoot out starts we are both there hoping that it stops soon especially Darcy who  has never been in this kind of thing before, my phone starts ringing its an unknown number so I don't answer it that's one of the many things my parents had taught me if you don't recognize the number don't answer it as it could be someone trying to get information on where you are based on events around you, I explained this all to Darcy who just nods then the shots start dyeing down and then Darcy goes over to check who was still alive the police of the mafia lot to our relief it seems to be the police but even Darcy who had no training knew better than to leave the room till someone we knew and trusted gave us the go ahead, the things they had used to cover the cameras started to get removed as where all the dead body's along with the weapons. Darcy looks conflicted so I ask what's the matter and she replied that she had never seen so many peoples lives get taken before which I can understand watching someone die at the hand of a gun for the first time is hard let alone when its a full on shoot out with us not a safe distance away I go give her a hug as I put the gun somewhere where I can grab it at short notice but keeping the vest and knives on and watch as Darcy does the same I walk over to her and give her a hug she then asks how long will we be in here and how will they get rid of all the blood I respond I don't know and that they always manage and I've seen them do it before she then pulls me into the hug more saying something that shocked me I didn't know how to respond about the fact she was trying to learn Italian so she could surprise me and that's how she knew what principessa meant and that she wasn't any good and didn't understand enough so she didn't know what me and my parents talked about when we spoke in Italian which put me to rest. I state that I have to tell my parents as it could be about really important top secret stuff they where talking about unaware that you knew what they where saying, I continue to say that i trust her but some of the stuff we talk about could be very disturbing and how I didn't want to upset he she nods and asks to play a game.

Darcy's pov

I didn't think about what they could of been saying I never realized they could of ben saying private stuff that no one could know and I felt incredible guilty asking if we could play a game to which char agrees I then go looking for the cards and find them in a draw when I go back to char I ask if it would of been better me asking if I should of started learning Italian before I did her response put me at ease stating that I could of never know what they could of been talking about and how I just wanted to do something nice and she appreciated it. char then calls her parents speaking in Italian I presume about me learning some Italian as I keep hearing my name pop up and a few words that I understood the char puts the phone on speaker and her parents call out for me softly saying that they could give me Italian lessons and that I already knew that they where the bosses of the mafia and that they trusted me and saw how I reacted to the threats and to everything that was said and how I could of very well exposed myself and char or could of walked away but I didn't so they would be honored if I joined the mafia too. I respond are you sure its absolutely fine if your too busy and that I would understand if they didn't want me to be part of there mafia which they responded don't be daft you would be an amazing asset to the  team once I had some training and that they could use me to get charlotte to do her training aswell charlotte roles her eyes and says you know I can hear you and that she would love for me to join the mafia also and that we could do everything together and never have to keep anything that big from each other again I smile and say I would be honored to which charlotte runs up to me puling me into a hug her parents then began to talk again and say that I am welcome to stay with them whenever they wanted and they would start training me as soon as they got back to which char pipes up saying when will you be back her dad responds not to long my sweet love you bye char and I chant bye at the same time laughing and then hang up the phone we are both really exited but nervous we check the cameras one last time before going to bed just to be sure and when we see nothing we go to bed but continue talking as we had to wait till 11 so we could watch our favorite content creators video.

most of you wont know but I absolutely love watching charlottes posts aka the nursery nurse tonight's vid was amazing I cant believe it winter asked Aut to marry him omg I cant believe it if you haven't watched her vids they are amazing she uses some of the videos to spread awareness for all sorts of things that don't get talked about enough and she also does all the storylines honestly she is amazing xoxo Emma  PS sorry for not posting a chapter for a while I couldn't get it right xx
