About the Anime: (by Wikipedia) The series revolves around the elite high school, Hope's Peak Academy, which, every year, selects several "Ultimate" students, lit. Super High School Level), talented high school students who are in the top of their field, along with one average "Ultimate Lucky Student" who is chosen by lottery.

In Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Makoto Naegi, an average student selected to join Hope's Peak Academy, arrives at the school only to lose consciousness and later find himself trapped inside the school, along with fourteen other students. There, a sadistic remote-controlled teddy bear by the name of Monokuma announces that the students will be forced to live in the school forever, offering only one way to graduate: murder another student and get away with it. When a crime scene is discovered, a "class trial" is held, in which the remaining students must discuss amongst themselves who the murderer is. If they can successfully figure out who murdered the victim, the culprit alone will be executed. However, if they guess incorrectly, the culprit will be able to leave the school and everyone else will be executed.

My Review: My friends made me watch this, and, when I started to watch it I was a little confused. Once I was about a few minutes into the Anime, Monokuma, a bear who is claimed as the principal of Hope's Peak, explains what is going on.

I loved the anime and the characters. The whole killing aspect and the trials made it much more enjoyable.

I loved the game. It was pretty cool. Although, I wish I played it before watching the anime.

Main Characters: Makoto Naegi: Makoto is the only pupil in Hope's Peak who didn't have any actual talents. Everyone thinks he's suspicious due to his character.

Sayaka Maizono: Sayaka is an international Pop Sensation. She has dark blue hair and eyes. Her personality suggests that she is easily scared.

Celestia Ludenberg: Black hair and red eyes. She is more known for her skills at gambling. She has a calm nature and doesn't seem phased by anything.

Aoi Asahina: Her and Sakura are best friends. Aoi has a passion for swimming and an extreme love for donuts. She tends to do her own things and wants nothing to do with murder.

Byakuya Togami: Byakuya doesn't like being around others. He tends to read books and make fun of people.

Toko Fukawa: Writer. Toko is a nervous character and is convinced that people judge her because of her looks. She stays away from people and only joins them when it's necessary.
