"The school festival is in next month. As student council, tayo ang in charge sa preparations. Do you guys have any ideas?"
All the student council — even Parker who always leave earlier are all in ears habang nagsasalita si Milo sa harap ng white board. Murmurs were heard everywhere dahil nagiisip sila ng pwedeng mai-suggest para sa festival. Meanwhile, Erin who doesn't even know what a school fest is, just remained in her seat, unbothered, and again, staring onto a space.
"Oh! Let's hold a talent showcase!" Keen said with enthusiasm.
"That would be good, anybody else?"
Erin doesn't even comprehend what's going on. Her eyes roam around the room, subconsciously looking for a pair of cold and distant eyes — namely Leeon. But she doesn't see him anywhere, and so she gave up and just turn her attention in front.
"How about several booths? We'll split in pairs to build whichever booth they prefer"
"Good thinking, Keen. How about the others?"
Keen, enthusiastically raise his arms once again. He even waved it several times dahil mukhang nilalampasan nalang siya ng tingin ni Milo.
"I love all your ideas Keen, but we need other opinions as well" saad ni Milo at mukhang gusto nitong magsorry dahil sa pag reject niya kay Keen. Patampong ibinaba ni Keen ang kanyang kamay at inirapan si Saki na inaasar nanaman siya. The other sc students started to share their ideas until it was now Erin's turn.
Agad siyang nakaramdam ng kaba, she doesn't know what to suggest. First time niya palang maka experience ng school festival, hindi niya alam kung paano ba umattend nito, what more kung mag organize pa. Saying something stupid would humiliate her once again, saying she doesn't know how a school festival works would make people call her stupid again.
Bahala na
She was about to speak when the door opened kaya nabaling ang atensiyon ng lahat sa bagong dating. Erin's heart skipped another beat, she too, along with other sc members were mesmerised by the man who walk inside. Leeon.
Ngunit agad rin napalitan ng pagtataka ang mukha ni Erin nang makitang may sumunod sa pagpasok ni Leeon. It was a woman, wearing the same uniform as theirs. But she made the simple fabric of the uniform look expensive. Nakangiti itong pumasok sa loob while wearing a smile that shows her glossy full lips and perfectly white teeth. Erin noticed how the girl subtly tug the hem of Leeon's coat as they both went inside the office.

Agad itong napasigaw at tumakbo sa kinaroroonan ni Milo. She gave him a tight hug habang tumatalon-talon pa ito sa galak. She then gave Chrys, Jake, and Saki a hug as well.
Erin can't help but feel jealous — if that is what they call it. She doesn't even know why but she felt a certain attraction to Leeon, maybe because she somehow saw similarity in him. Maybe because they both have the same lonely eyes that crave for something they can't quite figure out yet.
