Leeon stood outside the cell, his hands buried in his pockets. His eyes staring deep onto hers with no emotions at all.
"Leeon" she whispered, still unable to grasp the situation. It shocked her more than anything, because she and Leeon don't have much interaction to begin with. They only get to converse whenever they were in a meeting, nothing more.
Leeon opened the jail cell using a key that Jake gave him. He didn't utter a single word which made it hard for Erin to start a conversation. She wanted to ask why him? why not Keen or Milo?
"I was told to fetch you" it's like he could read minds dahil sinagot agad ni Leeon ang gustong itanong ni Erin. What Erin doesn't know is that her face is obviously asking questions that even the most insensitive person could read her facial expressions.
Nagpasalamat naman si Erin and Leeon only respond with a nod. Nagsimula na itong maglakad at sumunod naman si Erin. She can't wait to see Jake and Parker, only because she wanted to scold the two for not even noticing that she's missing. Erin didn't even realize that it's already dark, the lights from the venue made the place bright kaya hindi mahahalata na gabi na. More people were seen wandering certain booths especially the food stalls.

Her eyes sparkle in awe. She didn't know school festivals were this lively and beautiful. She imagined schools as dull and scary —just like what Keeana used to complain whenever she always went home after classes.
Erin was too mesmerised that she was unaware of how Leeon immensely stared at her. Amused by how she gets giddy over the smallest things. Born from a prestigious family, he was used to meeting people with high expectations from almost everything and anything they see. They were almost too hard to please, always expecting others to be on par with their societal status.
But this woman right here, is the opposite of what he always see from day to day basis. The smallest flicker of lights made her gasp in awe, the common laughter from a group of friends made her smile in amusement, the busy and chaotic festival he always hated made Erin subtly jump in glee —making sure Leeon doesn't notice it. But Leeon always see the smallest gesture, especially from this woman. And he doesn't even know why.
"Is this your first school festival?" Curiosity took the best of Leeon. He doesn't want to start a conversation, let alone from someone who doesn't like to talk as well. Tumango si Erin without even looking at him, her gaze fixated somewhere. Only then Leeon realized that Erin is staring at an open field with a big screen. People were sitting on the grass with only a blanket as their seat.
