It's You

A few months had passed. Parker and Erin grew closer than before. They don't know what they call it but they grew to be fond of each other more. The other's noticed it too; with the way Parker subtly hold Erin's hand as if not wanting to let her go, to buying her a book she once stared on a display during their date.

But despite Parker's efforts, alam niyang hindi niya pa rin mapapantayan si Leeon. Despite Erin not reacting whenever Leeon's name was mentioned, he knew that he still lingers on Erin's mind.

There are moments when he wanted to pull and let go. He doesn't even know what made him step up and tell Erin that he likes her. Maybe because his feelings were too strong he couldn't hide it any longer. May mga araw na iniisip niya if waiting is still worth it, but whenever he saw the lass made him think that it is indeed worth it.

He doesn't even know when his feelings started to blossom towards Erin. He just finds himself deeply affected whenever he saw her sad or crying. He just finds himself looking for her whenever he would step inside the film club or the sc office. He didn't know when or how it started, he just did.

"I still find it weird" si Keen ang unang nagsalita as soon as they reach the rooftop holding their lunchboxes. "I mean, Parker? I can't even imagine" dugtong niya at naupo sa isa sa mga upuan to which Milo agreed.

"Are you certain he's genuine?" Muling tanong ni Milo kay Erin kaya tumango ang dalaga. Parker is the most genuine person Erin met. She'd never seen someone so transparent with their feelings. Parker may talk less but his actions were more than enough to say what's on his mind. Kaya labis na lamang ang konsensya ni Erin.

"You should be asking Erin instead; are you genuine?" Keen's question made Erin uncomfortable. Wala siyang maisagot. Because she doesn't know either.

She feels like she's just using Parker to forget Leeon. Because no matter what she does, Leeon still crosses her mind. Despite not being here physically, ramdam pa rin niya ang binata. He left a strong impact on her, making him unforgettable. After all, it's not everyday she gets to experience seeing her first love be engaged to someone who actually hates her.

Erin's silence made Milo and Keen exchange glances. Her silence is enough to answer their question, and it's not a good sign.

"End it" malakas ang loob na saad ni Milo. His face was stern, a face he usually does whenever a decision has to be made. And Erin hates how Milo is always right. "End it before things got out of hand"

Erin and Keen both sighed. They knew where this is going. Alam nilang kahit anong payo ang sabihin ni Milo, it's still up to Erin to decide. They're just here to advise after all. If only it's easy to do then Erin would've probably ended things with Parker by now — if there's even a something between them.

"I know how stubborn you are. Kaya this time, ako na mismo ang gagawa ng paraan" Milo's statement made Erin nervous. Anong gagawin ni Milo?
"I'm not doing this for you, i'm doing this for Parker; he's my friend too"

"I'm with Milo. Kaibigan ko rin si Parker, ayoko ring masaktan siya" Seeing how Keen and Milo were also adamant on ending things with Parker must mean that they see something Erin don't.

"Tell me, kapag bumalik si Leeon and asked you out once again, what will you do?" Erin was betrayed by her own emotions. Wala sa huwisyo itong tila nabalisa nang marinig ang tanong ni Milo. The answer is clear, Erin is still into Leeon — an answer that is wrong in every aspect.

"Mahal mo pa rin si Leeon yet you're letting Parker make a move. That's not the Erin i knew" Halata sa boses ni Keen ang labis na pagka dismaya. Erin wasn't like this, she knew she wasn't like this before. But her heart always betrays her she doesn't know what to do anymore. It's like it has a mind on its own.
