The feeling of overcoming the thing that scares you the most is beyond describable.
Erin doesn't know how to call this feeling, it's like a thorn is plucked out inside her system. She felt lighter, she felt livelier than ever.
Pinunasan ni Erin ang kanyang mga luha bago pumasok sa loob, ready to be greeted by her fellow club members. Sa halip na isang masiglang pagbati, she was welcomed with dust coming from the old wooden door she once came in. No one was inside, tanging siya at ang lalake kanina ang tao sa loob ng lumang kwarto.
Several camera and film equipments were laid out on the table. She was not a professional but she knew that everything inside the room was old and quite unused. She decided to join the film / photography club not because she's interested in photography, it was because of Keeana.
Erin remembered how Keeana would always bring a camera with her whenever they are on a stroll. She would take a snap of the surroundings every now and then. One time, Keeana let her handle the camera and tried teaching Erin how to use one. Hinding-hindi makakalimutan ni Erin ang kanyang unang pitik. Her first capture is a portrait of Keeana, smiling under the glistening sun whilst the ocean wind blows her face.
That day, was the very first time she decided she wanted to capture every angle, emotions, and every bit of memories with Keeana. If only Erin knew that it was the last time she would see Keeana that strong and bubbly, if only she was observant enough to notice how Keeana would subtly wince in pain, if only she knew better than to realize that her smile is weak and unusual.
If only she knew it would be the last time they would spent the day together, she would have capture lots of photographs. She would have taken Keeana's frame until the storage of her camera went full.

If only I knew
"Oh? We have a newbie!" Nabalik si Erin sa reyalidad at tumingin sa bagong pasok na estudyante. Judging by the way he's familiar and comfortable with the place, mukhang 4th year na ito.
"You didn't tell me we have a newcomer" saad nito at pabirong ginulo ang buhok ng lalake na naunang pumasok kanina. Pagalit naman nitong hinawi ang kamay ng bagong dating at umirap. Only then Erin realized that the first guy was also the new student council member along with her.
Tanda ni Erin na siya yung naunang umalis sa office nang bigyan na sila ni Milo ng gawain. The others didn't even noticed that he left without a word, they didn't even realize na apat na lamang silang nagtatrabaho sa task na inutos nila. The guy was sitting on the old window frame habang nagbabasa ng libro. Mukhang wala itong pakialam sa paligidi niya, it's like he's living in his own world inside the book dahil sa sobrang immersed nito sa pagbabasa.
Lumapit naman ang bagong dating kay Erin and extended a hand to which Erin hesitantly accepted.
"I'm Kai, 4th year and president of the film club. That antisocial guy over there is Parker, a sophomore and vice president of the film club" he pointed at the guy who's still busy reading at humarap ulit kay Erin
