Jennie was a bit stressed from work and felt that she did not enjoy her job anymore, unlike when she started working, and was also annoyed that she hadn't gotten promoted even though she had worked in the company for many years. She talked about it with her best friend, Jisoo, who told her something that shocked her.

"So, you're saying you want me to stay in the village with you?" she asked, repeating what Jisoo said. "Yeah, you need a vacation from that job that's only tiring you physically and mentally and is also being ungrateful to someone who has worked there for years." Jisoo told her, "But where should I stay?" was her question. "You can stay with me; my house is big enough," Jisoo suggested. "Is that really alright with you, like I don't want to be a burden?" Jennie said, but Jisoo disagreed. "Nah, you won't, and plus, this is me thanking you when you let me stay in your apartment even if I couldn't pay rent sometimes, so like, just think about it, Jisoo said, then the call ended.

Jennie thought about it for a week after hearing what Jisoo said, and after one exhausting day where she was given more paperwork and a colleague stole her idea, she decided to take Jisoo's offer. She called Jisoo during lunch, who was happy to hear her reply, and told her that she will stay until she feels better. After that, she resigned from her job and felt a little better as she did that, laughing at the memory of her former boss's face looking surprised when she filed her resignation as it meant losing someone he could treat as some errand girl. He did try to convince her not to resign, but he relented when Jennie said she'd report him to HR about the stuff he had done, and that was the end of that.

In a little celebration, she ate BBQ in happiness and after that packed her bags, bringing her dogs in tow. She looked at her former apartment, which wasn't entirely great, and the landlady was a bit unreasonable, but she did love the house. "I hope this break turns out to be great," she thought to herself as she entered the taxi that'll drive her to the bus station.
