Even though they have made up on what happened, the subject of what they fought is still there, as Jennie still had to go to Seoul to help her friend, and Lisa let her, as Jennie promised her that she'd only be gone for like a week and she'd call every day "so dramatic." Jisoo thinks as she watches Jennie board the bus, and they really did act like a dramatic couple where it's like the other is going away to a faraway place. And they did call each other whenever they could, and it was funny seeing Lisa act like a lovesick puppy whenever Jennie calls, but it gets annoying whenever she's being dramatic whenever Jennie doesn't call, but they let them be because Lisa doesn't get distracted up much. Lisa is just going to be very insufferable until Jennie gets back. After a week, Jennie returned home, and the two acted like they had been separated for a year, but it was very sweet to see them reunite.
A week later, everything was ok, and Lisa and Jennie's relationship is going stronger, to the point where Jennie started staying in Lisa's home more than hers and experienced her first time with Lisa as well. From what people see, those two act like a married couple already. And at the moment, the two were just sitting on one of the benches in the park, enjoying their day, and then Jennie spoke. "I need a job soon," she said, to which Lisa looked at her. "I actually don't mind just spoiling you forever," she said. "That would be very nice, but I don't entirely like lazing around all day," she told Lisa, who laughed, then spoke again. "Hey, I noticed you don't work in the café anymore," she said, noticing how much free time Lisa has. "Well, it's because I resigned," she revealed to her.
Hearing them surprised Jennie. "It's because Mr. Choi, the owner of the dance school, asked me to become a permanent dance teacher since one of their dance instructor will be moving to Seoul since he got an offer and the money is good, and with that, I accepted," Lisa explained to Jennie, who looked happy." Lisa, that's amazing, like you always loved to dance," she told her as they hugged. "Wait, how about BamBam?" Jennie asked her. "Well, he told me that he's currently asking his Korean friends that he met when he was in Seoul for help," Lisa said to Jennie as they walked back home but stopped walking when they spotted someone in front of them, and Jennie was a bit confused till she saw Lisa's reaction. "Diana" was the only word she said, and Jennie knew this was Lisa's ex. "Hey Priya," Diana said, looking at her with a short smile. The three just stood there for a bit, and Jennie could see that Diana was pretty and glared at her as she held Lisa's hand. She felt a bit happy when Lisa held hers. "What are you doing here?" she asked Diana, who looked at her. "I just want to talk to you," she said while she stared at the handholding, and the two noticed she had a ring on her finger. "Sure, let's talk at BamBam's café," Lisa told Diana, who nodded, and the three started walking, leading Diana to the café.
Almost everyone in the village was staring at Lisa and Diana's talk in the café, and their friend group was aware of what had happened between them after what had happened for the past few weeks. "What do you guys think they're talking about?" Rosé said, interested in the conversation that's happening, "probably about the past, oh, what if she's asking Lisa to go back together with her?" Yeri says, "If that girl asked that Lisa would obviously reject it; she has Jennie now." Wendy says, "She's pretty though." Suzy notes as Jisoo looks at Jennie, who was watching, ignoring everyone else until she gets a phone call and she has to leave. It has been an hour of conversation, and everyone is standing there until Joy and Bo-Hyun arrive to ask what's happening and try to stop everyone from snooping, only for Lisa and Diana to leave the café.
Everyone acted like they weren't just trying to be nosy and listen in on their conversation, which somehow confused the two, and Jennie, who arrived after turning her phone off, saw that the conversation was finished. "It was nice seeing and talking to you again, Priya. I have to go," Diana says with a smile. "It was the same," was Lisa's response as Diana walked away to where her car was while Lisa walked to Jennie. Where did you go?" Lisa asks her, "I'll tell you about that later, so what do you guys talk about?" Jennie asks Lisa as they start walking away. "Ok sure," Lisa replies, leaving everyone. "OK, let's give them privacy." Joy tells the others, who then leave except for Jisoo since she's going in for a drink anyways accompanied by her boyfriend, as Joy ordered him to buy drinks for them.
They went to Lisa's house to get some privacy. "So what did Diana want?" Jennie asks her. "Well, she came here to apologize to me and tell me that she didn't mean all of those things she said years ago and wanted to settle things with me," Lisa explained. "How did she know where you are?" was Jennie's next question. "She found out through our friends social media." Lisa's response was "so the ring," Jennie said. "Yeah, she's getting married to the guy, and she just wanted to give our relationship closure and says that she will always be thankful for the memories we made together, and that's all," Lisa said, finishing her explanation, then looked at Jennie, "so how about you? Where did you go?" It was Lisa's turn to ask the question, Well, remember my friend that I helped, Chahee?" Jennie mentioned, and Lisa listened. "Well, when I was there, she offered me to co-own a clothing business with her," Jennie revealed to Lisa.
A part of Lisa spoke, "So what did you say?" A part of her felt a little bit of fear in not wanting Jennie to go but pushed it down as she doesn't have to be afraid and what she has with Jennie is different. "I actually declined her offer since I live here now," she revealed, and a bit of Lisa felt relief. "But then she called me and said that I will be the one to manage one of the first store here and asked me for the same offer." Jennie continued, "What did you say?" Lisa asked, "I wanted to ask you first." Jennie replied, "Jennie, you should accept, like this is an upgrade from your old jobs and I know you like fashion, so do it." Lisa said, encouraging her to try it, and Jennie thought about it for a moment and smiled. "Ok, I'll call her later, but right now I want cuddles," she said, making Lisa chuckle as they cuddled on the couch.
It still amazes Jennie that on this day she was only there for a vacation but instead found love, peace, and happiness. She didn't expect that leaving her toxic job would give her this opportunity, but it happened, and she's somehwat thankful about it, as well as towards Jisoo, the one who invited her, and for Lisa, she didn't expect she'd be given a second chance at love, and she promised herself that she would be a better girlfriend and didn't expect to find that in the village, and for BamBam, who called her that day, she thought of never taking this chance for granted. While snuggling in each other's arms, the two wondered what the future had in store for them, but they knew that they'd be together for a very long time, living in the peaceful village with their friends.
