Chapter 12: New People And Realization

As Jennie introduced her, Lisa smiled and waved, "Oh, she's cute." Nayeon said, "Hey, where's Jisoo?" Jinyoung asked, "Oh, she's on a date with her new boyfriend." Jennie revealed with a smile, shocking their friends, "Tell us now!" Irene said to Jennie, who nodded but then looked to Lisa, "Go hang out with your friends." Lisa told her as she left. "Ok, I'll tell you guys everything on that, so let's go inside," Jennie tells them as she opens the door. Unknown to Jennie, Lisa was secretly watching them. She didn't know why she stopped, but she did. She didn't understand why she disliked how Mino was touchy towards Jennie, but she ignored it and walked away.

The next day, Jisoo and Jennie's friends were then introduced to the villagers, and yeah, they were nice, but Lisa didn't entirely like Seung-youn for some reason. Then they were able to meet Jisoo's boyfriend, whom they immediately tried to intimidate, but they saw that he's very nice and sweet and really in love with Jisoo, which made them very happy. At the moment, the friends are currently in the café watching Jennie work, and Lisa was getting annoyed at Mino, who keeps on getting Jennie's attention, so she walked over. "Sir, are you going to order?" she asked Mino, who looked surprised. "You can call me Mino, and no," he replied. "Sir, if you are not going to order, sit down; other customers are waiting in line. She said to him, "What customers?" He asked and turned to see people in the line, making him feel embarrassed and apologize before going back to the others, seeing that Lisa smirked a bit before returning to work.

Mino returned to their seats and listened to his friends conversation. "Ya know Lisa is cute?" Nayeon said, looking at Lisa. "Yeah, I agree; also, why do I feel like there's something going on between her and Jennie?" Irene said watching Lisa interact with Jennie, huh, I thought Jennie was straight; remember she liked Kai?" Mino said in surprise, "No dude, Jennie told us that she realized she was actually crushing on Kai's girlfriend, not him." Jinyoung clarified, and Mino made a look of realization. "And now you know why she'll never date you," Jisoo said with a snicker as Mino laughed. "And Irene, me, and the others are already aware of that; they probably might, but we need to push to make them realize that," Jisoo said to the others who listened.

When the two got out of their shift, Jennie went over, and Lisa was about to leave since she knew Jennie would spend more time with her friends, but Jisoo stopped her. "Yo Limario!" Jisoo called her, and Lisa went over. "What, Jisoonie?" Lisa asked. "Would you be so kind to give our friends a tour?" Jisoo asked, and Lisa thought of it for a moment. "Sorry, Jisoonie, I can't because I'm going home," Lisa said, but then Jennie spoke. "How about me? I do it for you guys?" she offered, and Jisoo saw Lisa's expression. "You lived here for four months; you think you know where to go?" Lisa said. "Is that a challenge, Manoban?" Jennie asked Lisa, who looked amused. "It is a challenge, Jennie, and I'll watch you if you can." Lisa challenged Jennie, who accepted, as Jisoo looked on with amusement as her plan was working.

The guys then prepared and started walking. Jisoo joined for the fun of it, wanting to see Jennie be a tour guide and execute her plan on making Jenlisa realize they like each other. As they walked, Jennie introduced them to the village with Irene flirted with Seulgi who was amused by what's happening and thought she was cute then to the market, and Jisoo remembered she had to buy something. With that, they looked around, and everyone noticed how Lisa would glare whenever Mino would get touchy towards Jennie, or how Jennie is a bit clingy towards Lisa, or how they act like a couple already, but the two hadn't noticed, so Jisoo decided to give them a little push.

They were talking to each other while they were going to the beach. "Hey Jennie, do you want to know what happened to that shitty workplace of yours?" Nayeon asked. "No, what happened?" Jennie asked. "Well apparently after hiring someone, they tried to turn that person into someone that they could bully, but that person fought back and exposed all the shitty things the company did, which created a scandal and not wanting to ruin their reputation and protests from people the higher ups had no choice but to fire the power trippers," Nayeon revealed to Jennie, who then laughed and felt happy that someone did it instead. "Finally," she said, while Lisa smiled, seeing Jennie happy, and then they entered the beach.

She then showed the seafood restaurant, then the other things on the beach that Lisa had shown her, and seeing her made Lisa proud of Jennie, and then her mood changed whenever Mino showed up and got touchy. "Hey, why are you jealous of Mino?" a voice said behind her, and Lisa jumped a bit and turned, seeing Jisoo. "I'm not jealous, and I have no feelings for Jennie, Lisa said. "Yeah, but the way you stare at her, only follow her when she asks for something, try to make her smile every time she's sad, and other stuff makes it show otherwise," Jisoo said before leaving Lisa, who looked surprised at what Jisoo said, but before she could think more of what Jisoo implied, Jennie called her, and she immediately went over to her.

They were then led by Jennie to places until she stopped. "And this is the only place with a beautiful view, so let's climb up the stairs," Jennie told everyone as they climbed up, and Lisa couldn't help but think of what Jisoo said until they reached the top and everyone was in awe of the beautiful view. As everyone took pictures, Jennie went over to Lisa. "And you said I couldn't give a tour?" Jennie said smugly, making Lisa chuckle. "I was proven wrong; you are a good guide," Lisa told Jennie, who then walked away but stopped. "Hey Lisa," Jennie said as Lisa looked at her. "Thanks for making my four-month stay here memorable." Was what Jennie said with a smile as Lisa's eyes widened as the light sunset showed Jennie's face shining even more with her beautiful gummy smile that Lisa loved to see. "Yeah, your welcome" was all she could say to Jennie, who then joined her friends.

At that point, Lisa remembered what Jisoo said to her about how she has acted around Jennie for the past few months, and now that she has understood it, she has realized that she has fallen for Jennie Kim.
