Jennie and Lisa were getting more and more closer with each other, which is nice, but she still gets along with the other villagers, like Rosé, as she's fun to be around and they vibe well, and she enjoys hanging out with her along with Suzy. She learned that they met when Rosé moved here, and it took a while before they fell in love, and Rosé then pursued and courted her, which is very cute according to Jennie, and they have been together ever since.
And there, Jennie remembered where she saw Rosé. She saw her one time in Seoul singing in a café, and when she told Rosé that, she laughed and was amused to know Jennie remembered her. She then revealed that she's actually a lawyer who resigned from her job and revealed that Lisa was the one who invited her to move here because there's nothing in the city for her, and now she's teaching everyone about music but is starting to think about opening up a small firm at some point, but she'll only do that if she thinks she's ready to work again. Hearing that Jennie was shocked as she didn't expect that, Rosé spoke: "Almost everyone here has reasons for why they moved here to this little place," she said, and Jennie agreed as she has her own reasons for being here too, and the two continued talking about stuff.
One of the topics of conversation was her friendship with Lisa, and Jennie knows these two are best friends. Rosé then told stories about how they used to argue until Lisa accidentally said something that made both of them laugh and made them stop fighting. And talking about Lisa made her a bit curious about Lisa's past, and she was about to ask Rosé, "Lisa is the one who can tell you, not me." Rosé told Jennie, who nodded, and they continued on talking about other stuff, and Jennie jokingly said about making a bet on when Jisoo and Bo-Hyun will get their act together and start dating, and to her amusement, Rosé informed her that the village is in on the bet, and Jennie joined in.
As said, Lisa and Jennie have become closer. The two were usually hanging out at Lisa's house or at Jisoo's house, but more at Lisa's house as the café closes early on a Sunday, so the two have a lot of free time together. The two were currently eating snacks and watching a series, as they found they liked the same shows. As they watched, they realized they had finished a bag of chips that they were eating. "Hey, where do you keep the chips?" she asked. "Top shelf in the kitchen." Lisa responded, and Jennie walked to Lisa's kitchen and opened the door, but the thing is, she's short, so she can't reach it. She tried tiptoeing to get it, but to no avail until someone else took it.
Jennie turned around a bit and saw Lisa standing near her, inches from her, while her hand brushes against her as she reels her hand back, taking the chips, and they look at each other in the eyes; they aren't moving. Lisa didn't know why she didn't want to move, but she didn't mind and observed Jennie's features, seeing her adorable cat-like eyes and lips. It was the same with Jennie; she was staring at Lisa's plump lips, and as they continued to stare, the moment was interrupted when Lisa felt her cat's tail touch her leg, and she moved back. "Let's go back to watching the show," Lisa said, looking away as Jennie got back to her senses and nodded. "Yeah, sure," she responded, and they both wondered what just happened as they walked back to the living room.
As the two got back, they felt the awkwardness, but then Jennie spoke. "So Lisa, were you born in Thailand?" she said, hoping to erase the awkwardness. "Uh yeah, why do you ask?" Lisa answered her question. "Well, I just wanted to know because you speak Korean very well," Jennie replied, making Lisa smile. "I practiced a lot when I arrived here," she said. "I wanted to know why you came to Korea?" was her next question, and Jennie noticed Lisa's expression changed to serious. "I have my reasons for going here," was Lisa's response. Jennie stopped talking, seeing that Lisa wasn't interested in talking about that, and continued to watch the show. While watching, Jennie thought and decided not to talk about Lisa's past, but she still wants to get to know her more and be closer with her.
