The next week passed by quickly, and after learning about the Grounders, the delinquents start rising up a wall around their camp. Everyone was afraid of the unknown.

Amidst the calm of the passing week, Nix created the habit of visiting the graveyard, making sure to bring flowers to each of the lost teens. The idea came to her because of Atom but it wouldn't be fair to forget the others.

Making her way there, she starts slowing down her pace as soon as she notices Clarke knelt down. She could hear her cries and, cautiously, she approached her from behind now being able to see the freshly dug grave.

Nix furrows her brows and her mouth falls open. "Clarke? What happened?" She asks with worry and finally makes Clarke aware of her presence.

The blonde turns around looking up at her with teary eyes. "Wells. The Grounders got him just outside the wall." Her voice breaks as she explains.

Nix is quick to sit down next to her and pull her for a hug, rubbing her arms for comfort. "I'm so sorry, Clarke." They pull apart and Clarke wipes away her tears. "You two were pretty close, right?" She questions unsure, finding their relationship very confusing.

"He was my best friend since we were little. We grew apart after a- misunderstanding." She stutters the last word out, as if is not correct for the situation. "I wasted so much time hating him." She adds with regret.

A sudden noise in the woods catches their attention and they both tense up only to let out a relieved sigh when Finn appears. He looks between the two girls with a sorrowful and worried look. They get up as he comes closer, his focus now fully on Clarke.

"I'll leave you two." Nix announces, knowing very well those two were getting pretty close and she wouldn't stand there third-wheeling.

Nix makes her way back to camp, stumbling right upon Bellamy and Murphy by the gate.

"Back to work, Princess." Murphy cockily orders as she walks past him, stealing the nickname Bellamy gave her and taking a good look up and down her figure.

While Bellamy sends him an ugly look, not liking the way he treats her at all, Nix rolls her eyes and grimaces feeling physically disgusted hearing the title coming from Murphy's mouth.

She had to admit the nickname had grown on her. But only when it's Bellamy saying it. She is quick to spot Charlotte tying a few scraps together and joins her, greeting the little girl with a sweet smile.

A pair walks past them carrying a huge log when one of them falls abruptly to the ground. "Hey!" Murphy barks out, walking closer to him. "You think the Grounders are just gonna sit around, and wait for us to finish the wall? Maybe we should let the little girl do the lifting for you, huh?" He points at Charlotte and Nix protectively gets in front of her.

"I just need some water, okay? Then I'll be fine." Connor explains, sounding breathless.

"Murphy, get this guy some water." Bellamy interferes before anyone can say anything else and reluctantly Murphy walks away. "Hey, you got this?" He directs his question at Charlotte and nods towards the log. Innocently, she reaches for it but Bellamy stops her. "I'm just kidding." He says with a cute smile.

Nix watches them both joke and can't help but smile. Bellamy takes Connor's post, picking up the log like it weight nothing, and sends Nix a wink as he continues his way. She has to bite her bottom lip to stop her smile from becoming wider while she watches him walking away, feeling that familiar butterflies in her stomach.

A sudden noise of water running makes her turn around just in time to see Connor pushing Murphy off his back, the smell of piss rising in the air as Murphy zips up his pants.
