I watched as the big flying shadow turned its head towards the flying ‘stars,’ seeming to be having a conversation.

It must have angered them because they only sped up, blasting large flames from their rear, landing them in front of the figure's large body.

Releasing a fed-up sigh, I turned back to face Gigantron, heart now racing and concern now present in full show on my face. I let out a soft whistle as I gently rubbed her yellow beak, glancing at her tightly held egg, ensuring her that it was going to be okay.

Glancing back up into Gigantron's face, I noticed a glowing blue light reflecting onto the bottom of her face. Confused, I turned around, peeping over her beak.

“AAAAAAAh!" A loud-pitched scream escaped my mouth, staring at the humanoid figure now flying underneath us. Luckily, the wind masked my scream so that they didn't hear me, much less notice me hiding behind the horn on Gigantron's beak, hugging the dear nonexistent life out of it. Their body was completely covered with a shiny, reflective material, adorned with two main colors: gray and red.

“Hey there, Ms. Gigantron!" They, now a he, voiced out, seemingly scaring Gigantron, who glanced down at his masculine figure, letting out a loud roar, scaring him in the process as he wobbled to keep his balance.

Completely avoiding his presence, Gigantron went back to dodging the strings of light that came her way.

However, he still assertively spoke, not caring a single bit that Gigantron roared at him, “If you give me whatever that thing is, those planes back there might leave you alone.” He said, pointing at the egg before posing as if he was absolutely certain about the words that exited his mouth… area?

I stared distrustfully at the large flying figure, thinking why in Gigantron’s pink scales should we trust him. Gigantron must have been on the same page because she looked down, which slightly loosened my grip on the horn structure on her beak before roaring into the flying shadow’s face.

Simultaneously, a scatter of the same haunting strings of light rained down onto Gigantron's distracted body. She let out a roar, swinging her head to the side, flinging me off with ease as the light strings knocked the egg out of her clawed hands. For the first time in my life, time seemed to have slowed down as I descended at an abnormal speed to the now dark blue-black sea.

My heart leaped as I let out a loud scream mid-fall with my back aimed at the sea, trying to grasp something but held nothing. My long hair blocked my view slightly as I looked up to meet Gigantron's green eyes, roaring as she plunged down for her falling egg and hopefully me.

My heart burned when Gigantron dived for her egg, not letting a single second pass, knocking the flying, talking, shadow’s body harshly backward in the process with her tail. Leaving me as her second choice for the first time in my life, my heart cursed my mind for it to bring up such a thought as I closed my eyes, waiting for my body to meet the cold sea below so that I could swim away.

However, my body began to levitate mid-fall, causing my eyes to fly open, staring directly at Gigantron’s stomach, my body rammed beside the metal casing of her egg held within her claws, now held closer to her pink chest.

She roared, elevating my now pleasant feelings knowing she didn't forget about me. She soared upwards, now undistracted, dodging the incoming strings of light quickly, but only by a hair.

My attention was grabbed by the once-again emerging flying shadow, who tried to shout something to Gigantron. She glanced at him for a second. I couldn't hear a thing as the wind was getting rather loud, along with the noise it produced.

However, I wish I had heard what was said because the next thing I knew, dozens of pretty, fiery, amber, hot clumps of light were heading our way at a fast speed, leaving a string of gray smoke behind on their previous path.

My mind went blank as my eyes widened, watching helplessly at the approaching lights, at the panicking shadow behind us who tried their best to catch up to us.

“We’re gonna get hit,” I thought, senses coming back to me just in time to see a faint blue light engulf the rear end of Gigantron. Letting out a small whimper, I watched as the clumps of light made contact against the blue light surface, some ricocheting, slamming hard into Gigantron’s body.

…….

Time slowed down once again, taunting me, as groups of bright, warm, analogous colors engulfed the three of us, casting a golden glow onto my pale skin, lighting up my heterochromatic eyes that shone with death. My body froze as I heard a haunting sound that would stalk me for life—a pained roar, aching my heart before pain and darkness took over my body.

Boom.

A loud ringing echoed through my body, pain pushing me beyond my limits. My eyes opened slightly, peering through strained eyelids into an abyss of darkness. Bubbles escaped my mouth as my thoughts focused on one thing or rather someone, midst slowly sinking into the cold, saline waters of the ocean, my hair spreading around me like a blanket.

"Gi... gan... tron…?"
