Happened between Chapter 21 & 22 in the main story
After Maki's death, Momo and Miwa are about to leave the area they're currently in with their car and Megumi appeared in front of them as the two ladies went out of the car and threaten him as he voluntarily surrenders to them.
Momo then threatens Megumi with her broom...
Momo: What are you doing here Megumi Fushiguro?
Miwa: Leave, you have no place here.
Megumi raises hands and looks at both Miwa and Momo...
Megumi: About Maki, some of the Jujutsu High auxiliaries went after me and Kugisaki.
Momo and Miwa are staring at each other if they should believe Megumi's words.
Megumi: (looks down and nods) She's gone...
Momo: Are you telling the truth? That's not a good joke Fushiguro.
Miwa: Nishimiya, he's telling the truth. I can tell.
Momo then lowers her broom and Megumi lowers his hands...
Megumi: I want you to tell you this because Jujutsu High was her home. It's y'all, and she was also my aunt since she was my father's cousin and the only family member I had left since Tsumiki and Gojo aren't with me anymore so I still consider her a part of my family because we're both from the Zenin clan.
Megumi then left but Miwa told him something...
Miwa: It's us Fushiguro. You're welcome to join us with open arms once again and to sincere condolences with you for Maki's passing. I know what you're feeling right now since we also lost both Mechamaru and Mai 10 years ago.
Both Miwa and Momo pats Megumi's shoulders to pay their respects to the late Maki Zenin.
Then, we found Higuruma along with Kusakabe sitting in the front passenger seat in the former's car somewhere in Shibuya district buying flowers for Maki's funeral.
Everyone in the Jujutsu High pays tribute to the late Maki Zenin after she was accidentally killed in the crossfire during their encounter against the Altare.
Megumi: I have to go back now since Lord Kixin might suspect me for betraying Altare and I went back here where I originally came from. I have to save Kugisaki too since Lord Kixin didn't liked Kugisaki's performance as the Commando of Japan. I'll explain the details when we meet again. I'll call y'all if something goes down with me and Kugisaki. I have to leave now.
Kusakabe: We're counting on you Fushiguro, give us a call when something goes down.
Megumi: Yes sir!
THE END OF BONUS CHAPTER 3
Plot points:
• Megumi finally found out that Toji was his father, the same person he fought in Shibuya 10 years ago who possesses the Heavenly Restriction, the same as the late Maki Zenin who was born without Cursed Energy in exchange of superhuman strength with a great 5 senses. He found out that information while doing his research looking for his origin and who his parents are.
