POV(FAYE),

The camping Vans arrived an hour later after the instructions was made clear, it still seemed like Coral hadn't found out about the rules against phone and her truck full luggages but I hope the news hits her right in the face like a bomb.

They distributed a wrist band that looked like a wristwatch to every one with a number on it, it's going to beep and change colors when it comes into close contact with my partner's , I got number 24 which means anyone next to the number is my assigned partner? I hope I don't get some weirdo on my plate.

The numbers were called to get into vans and I couldn't find my partner, I lost Coral and I could tell she was with Nathan's, like I care if she gets kidnapped, she's obviously begging to get kidnapped by handsome guys.

I relaxed in the van since I got the window seat and I sat alone, the ride went smoothly and the girls were very loud, I cared less and had a nice nap.

The journey took too long and it was already 4:20pm by the time the Van arrived, we descended the van and headed to the checking point to get scanned before heading into the camping ground.

We assembled on a straight line, girls on the right, the boys on the other. I got really pissed that the procedure was this tight and uncomfortable.

I spotted Coral at the front line, how did she get there so fast? She was having a heated argument with the security guards.

I smirked😏, it was obvious she wasn't going to release her phone easily. She should have read the manual, poor girl.

She sat on a chair and bit her lips nervously pinching herself to escape from reality, she was staring into the crowd. Obviously looking for me, I hid my face and luckily she didn't find me.

It got to my turn and I turned in all my belongings as they gave me a bag which was supposed to contain my daily necessities as stated in the paflet.

I grabbed it and entered the camping ground through the large gate, the others were assembled at a place with their assigned bag pack and obviously they were ready to enjoy the summer trip, my kind of people.

I joined the crowd to listen to the announcement but not until the others came in. Soon the crowd had gathered for the announcement.

"Hi everyone, I'm sure you have all read the terms and conditions of this camping ground and you have given us full Rights to your protection and well-being. We had to restrict the use of phone to protect the privacy of users and to fully enjoy the summer without connection to the internet. Rule 1! Stick to your partner, Rule 2! The only thing that matters is winning. Rule 3: do not try to bring in things that are not allowed. Is that understood?" The man announced and they all gave a lame "yessir!"

"Firstly, I would like to thank Mr Nathan Seattle for sponsoring this whole trip and crafting the whole idea." The man said and I frowned as the thought of him crafting the idea of forbidding phones.

"It's getting late, find a partner and set up your camping tent, dinner will be served at 7:00pm, take your time and prepare for tommorow, good day," the man said and walked away.

"Faye?" Someone called from behind and I turned immediately, it was Christian, I smiled and he returned the gestures.

"Are you okay?" Christian asked later that day as he assisted me with putting up my tent, "yeah.. why do you ask?" I said and he looked curious about something.

"That night, I thought something happened to you, I'm glad you're safe," Christian said, reminding me of the 2 days coma I had.

"I'm sorry for making you worried, I just...," I tried to make up an excuse but I got none.

"It's fine, I understand you might be going through a tough time right now, but I assure you that this trip would fix you," Christian said and I nodded.

"I hope so," I said and he saw my number, "you're 24!" Christian exclaimed and I was startled.

"Yes why?" I asked and he faked a cough, "you'll find out very soon," Christian said and I just felt tired.

"By the way, did you have a fight with Nathan?" Christian suddenly asked and I stopped, maybe I shouldn't have acted so obvious.

"No, why?" I asked and he just smirked, "I noticed the heat between you guys earlier today, the stares and all. It's definitely not normal," Christian said and I could tell he kept close watch to notice my killer stares.

"What do you mean? We weren't even close to start with, and you know we don't really get along well," he stared at me for a while and looked away.

"That's not true, you like him," Christian said and I was startled, but I kept my cool.

"What do you mean? Like? I think you meant to say hate, I would rather eat poop than saying I like him, he annoys me," I said making a disgusting look and Christian made eye contact with me.

It felt awkward that I realized we've never been this close to each other before, just a few inches away is crazy.

"So you don't like him?" Christian asked and i felt hesitant to say yes, "yes," I finally said and he smiled.

"Good, so do you like me?" Christian asked and I was puzzled for a while. "What do you mean? Of course I like you, you're nice to me," I said and Christian brought his face closer to mine.

"You know what I mean Faye..." Christian said and the heat between our faces was hot, our steady breathing connecting.

"You're beautiful, you're cute, you're calm, you're funny, everything about you pulls me in.... I think I like you Faye, and I wanna go on a date with you," Christian said and kissed me before I could say anything else. Our wrist band started beeping like crazy and it changed multiple colors.
