**AUTHOR'S POV**
After reaching Mumbai, Radhya continued her routine. She worked part-time as a teacher and also helped her mother with household chores.
Her daily routine involved waking up, assisting her mother, going to classes in the afternoon, and returning home at night. After dinner, she would start writing a story. This routine continued daily until one day when her father called her over.
Shekar (Radhya's father): "Radhya, check if tickets are available for August. You both went to the village; now it's my and Sonal's turn. We will go and spend 10 days there."
Malini (Radhya's mother): "No, that's not fair. We both are coming too. It will help us all relax from this boring routine here."
Shekar: "Okay, 'Kanna' (means daughter), check if tickets are available and book four tickets. I thought of going before Onam (Kerala's festival and their new year)."
Malini: "No, let's go after Onam. We will do our puja here. I don't want to go there for the festivals."
Shekar: "You still haven't forgotten that incident. Forget it; there's nothing we can do now. Let our daughters get good jobs, and then we can settle."
Radhya: "Don't start about that topic again. So, after Onam will be better."
Her father and mother both approved, and she checked and booked tickets for all four of them.

**AFTER 6 MONTHS**
Radhya and her family boarded the train to Kerala to spend 15 days with their family.
They reached Kerala the next day and stayed at Radhya's father's house. Radhya's father received a call that left him tense and shocked.
Shekar: "We must go to the hospital now. Radha's husband had a heart attack and is admitted."
Radhya knew Radha was her father's cousin. Her family had not been on speaking terms with Radha because she had married someone outside their caste. Radha had a love marriage, and after some years, they had accepted it and started talking.
Radhya had never met Radha and her family. Radha had married before Radhya was born. They all left for the hospital, leaving Sonal behind.

They all reached the hospital, and Radhya's father asked the receptionist for directions to the OT. The receptionist told them to go straight and then turn right.
They reached the OT.

**RADHYA'S POV**
We arrived in the village and had just refreshed when Papa got a call that Radha Aunty's husband was hospitalized.
I had never met her, but I knew she was my aunt. We went to the hospital and then to the OT.
A lady was sitting on the seats there, her face full of tears as she sobbed. Papa and Maa went near her. She looked at them with some unknown emotions and quickly hugged Maa, crying loudly.
Maa patted her back to console her, and Papa kept his hand on her head.
Radha: "He will be fine, won't he? I don't want to lose him. He will come back to me, right?"
Saying this, she started crying again. I went near them and stood there. Aunty looked at me and then at Papa with a puzzled look.
Shekar: "She is my daughter, Radhya."
Radha Aunty motioned for me to sit near her, and I held her hand tightly, assuring her that nothing bad would happen. A boy came and looked from the door of the OT.
Radha Aunty got up and went near him. He looked at Aunty with a questioning look.
Radha: "Your dad's angioplasty surgery is going on. Have you informed Dishan? When will he come?"
Shekar: "Is he your son, Radha?"
Radha: "Yes, he had gone to buy medicines and some essential items from home. I have another son, Dishan, who stays in Mumbai. I hope he comes soon."
Shekar: "Oh, all these years we never met. We arrived here today and then came to know about Hemant, so we came here directly. My second daughter is at home."
She nodded and didn't say anything, just sat down on the bench. Maa also sat near her. Meanwhile, other family members arrived.
After some time, everyone left, leaving only me, Papa, Deepak, and Aunty. Maa left to bring dinner for them. Papa told me to go, but I stayed back.
After an hour, the light outside the OT went off. A doctor and a nurse came outside. Papa and Deepak went to them while I sat with my aunt.
Deepak: "Doctor, how is my dad?"
Doctor: "The operation was successful, but we can't say anything yet. It's his second heart attack. Let's see if he regains consciousness within 24 hours. If not, he will be in danger again."
Saying this, the doctor left. Aunty started crying again. Deepak walked away, his eyes filled with tears. Papa stood there silently.
I saw a familiar face coming towards us. What is he doing here? Is he the same person?
