2 weeks later
Me and Katie have planned our wedding in two weeks and we have decided to have it on the pitch at the emirates,we have invited close family and friends and were both buzzing about it until today. Katie hadn't spoke to me all day she had gone all distant, I was wondering what's up so I asked her,
Y/n: Katie what's wrong?
Katie: nothing.
Y/n: Katie stop lying and just tell me what's up you have gonna all distant and haven't talked to me all day?
Katie: I said it's nothing y/n.
Y/n: fine I'm going to out for an hour or two I'll be back later.
Katie: ok.
I went on a little walk to clear my thoughts then decided to try and get it out of Katie so walked back home and looked around to find her, she wasn't in the living room the kitchen, our room. I had searched the while house except for the guest room, when I opened the door and Katie was lying in bed with another women who I assume was her Irish teammate cuddled up watching a movie. My heart sunk and Katie looked at me with guilt,
Y/n: h-how could you. I said quietly running off to our room where I packed all my bags and ran out the door sobbing my heart out, I ran to the closest place from my house Beth and Vivs,
I knocked on the door and Beth opened the door smiling but when she saw me she looked stunned,
Beth: hey hey it's ok sweetheart what's wrong?! she said pulling me into her arms and leading me towards the sofa where Viv exchanged her a confused concerned look.
She sat me up and looked at me,
Beth: can you tell me what's up to I can help you?
Y: I-i c-c-can't -b-breathe.... I muttered breathlessly
Viv jumped over and pulled my head onto her heart
Viv: it's ok kid listen to my heart beat do you want me to call Katie?
I pulled away from her and shook my head frantically,
Beth: did Katie do something to you? She asked concerned and angry...
I nodded my head calming down a little. She handed me a piece of paper and a pen.
Beth: can you write down what she did? it might be easier than saying it?
I nodded and wrote on the paper,
'She cheated on me.'
I handed Beth the paper and looked down. A rush of anger came across her face and she stormed to her kitchen and began calling someone and started shouting,
Beth: WHAT THE FUCK KATIE YOU WERE GETTING MARRIED IN TWO WEEKS ARE YOU FUCKING STUPID!
Katie: It was a mistake. Beth please tell her I love her!
Beth: YOU HAVE REALLY FUCKED UP KATIE DONT EVEN BOTHER TRYING TO CONTACT HER! She hung up then pulled me into her arms. I cried my heart out until I eventually fell asleep on Beth's chest.
Beth's PoV:
I was fuming the poor girl was broken all she ever loved was snatched away from her in a second how can Katie be so stupid?! I stroked her hair as she slept looking powerless and drained on my chest I looked at Viv who had the same expression,
Viv: I feel so bad for her... why would Katie do something like that?
Beth: I know she proposed to her a few days ago now this! Is she actually ok in the fucking head!
Viv: calm down babe... there's nothing we can do other than support her, who would she want us to call?
Beth: if anyone probably alexia from Barca? She said she was really close and helped her a lot with Mapi,
Viv: on it! Viv grabbed y/ns phone and called alexia,
Alexia: hola guapa!
Viv: hello is that alexia?
Alexia: si, where is y/n? She asked worriedly, ' is she ok? Hasn't she just got engaged? Can I speak to her please?
Viv: hi I'm Viv her Arsenal teammate she is with me and Beth, she is asleep but I think she needs you...
Alexia: why what's wrong is she ok?
Viv: her finance cheated on her and she hasn't spoke to anyone she cried a lot and is now asleep I think your the person she needs most.
Alexia: tell her I'm on my way! She shouted down the phone and hung up...
A few hours later someone burst through the door and ran into the living room, it was alexia.
Y/ns PoV:
I woke up to a big bang and when I took my head out of Beth's chest I saw ale stood there giving me a sympathetic look,
Alexia: oh baby come here. She said opening her arms,
I burst out crying and jumped into her arms sobbing and sobbing until she eventually calmed me down.
Beth: we have a spare room, Y/n, alexia you guys can stay there yeah?
Alexia: thanks, Beth right?
Beth: yeah that's me and that's Viv. She said pointing to Viv, I'll show you the room...
Ale carried me upstairs and lay me on the bed and cuddled up with me
3 days later
Ale had stayed with me for 3 days making sure I was ok and comforted until she had no choice but to fly back to Barca this morning because she has a meeting about her contract with her agent and can't miss it. I hadn't spoken or eaten, the last 3 days all I have done is cried and slept. Beth Viv and now ale who was probably already back in Barca was worried about me.
Beth: y/n? Do you want to talk me through it how it happened it might make you feel a little better?
Y/n: o-ok... I slipped out weakly,
Beth; take all the time you need baby.
Y/n: we had been fine the first 3 days after she proposed, then out of the blue she went distant and wouldn't talk to me, I tried talking to her but she just said nothing, and then later that day I went for a walk.. when I came home she was cuddled up with someone I assume to be her Irish teammate in bed watching a movie... she had a guilty look on her face the same as last time that happened. I just ran packed my bags and ran to your house....
Beth: oh y/n come here... she said giving me a big hug, do you want to go to training today and have a go?
Y/n: ok, I'll get ready. I got my training kit on and put makeup on to cover my baggy eyes and sunken in cheeks, I added 5 extra jumpers to hide the fact I had lost a lot of weight and Beth drove me her and Viv to the training centre.
As we got out the car i saw Katie talking with Leah, Leah saw us and waved us over Katie looked and me with a sorry look on her face and I just looked down and carried on walking with Beth and Viv, Leah looks confused and ran over to me,
Leah: hey what's wrong ?
Y/n: nothing.
Leah: Katie said you have spoken to her in a week why?
Y/n: she cheated on me again... I murmured under my breath.
Leah: she what? She questioned trying to understand me,
Y/n: nothing....
Leah looked at me confused then walked back over to Katie,
Training started ok then we went into a match, i was getting shoved and pushed off the ball so easily as I was weak and fragile . Everyone noticed it. Then to make things worse the rain came pouring down on us which slowly removed my makeup ravelling my baggy eyes and sunken in cheeks, which shocked everyone a bit more but what really worried people is when we was in the changing rooms getting into dry clothes on everyone saw I had like 7 layers on and how weak, skinny and fragile I was and Katie looked at me shocked, stunned and guilty,
Leah came over to me and hugged me,
Y/n: what's up le?
Leah: do you want to talk?
I just looked down and shook my head my eyes beginning to fill with tears,
Less: Katie what's up with her? Less whispered to her
Katie: I um I-
Less- what did you do! She whisper yelled at me.
Katie: I slept with ruesha and she caught me.
Less: what the fuck Katie! You are getting married in a week!
Katie: I guess not anymore.... She said and walked out the changing rooms.
Everyone looked stunned as they had just heard what they said. All eyes were on me, I got overwhelmed and ran out of the room. I didn't stop running I didn't care where I ended up, I just had to get away.
4 hours later.
It was dark outside and I was still walking in the same direction I started from and settled when I found a small park in a field. I walked to the park chucked my bags which consisted of my phone and my training kit into the tunnel hole thing and climbed in it myself where I got comfortable and fell asleep.
I woke up some time later checked my phone, 4 am, I sighed when I saw a lot of missed calls from most of my team, and one from Katie she had also left a voicemail, I was stupid enough to open it and began to listen.
Katie- hey it's me, I know I'm probably the last person you wanted to hear from right now but I wanted to talk to you and give you a full explanation because 1. You deserve it and 2. I love you.
Them last 3 days where I was distant and didn't say much was because I found out my mum is in hospital she had a stroke, I know it's not an excuse for what I did but I felt like I needed a distraction from my life, I would like to talk to you in person if that's ok... I still love you. Forever and always. And please call someone, anyone I just need to know your safe, goodbye princess.
A tear rolled down my cheek then the line went dead. I stood up and grabbed my bags and started walking again, I walked into a local shop and bought some bread which I could just afford out of the money I had left and ate it, along with going to a water fountain and filling my bottle up. I went back to my tunnel, and I decided to call the one person I needed to talk to the most, ale.
Ale 👑
A: hey guapa you ok?
Y: not really...
A: oh princess what wrong?
Y: everything... I ran away and no one knows where I am.
A: why did you run?
Y: because the whole team, found out about Katie. Then while I was hiding she left me a voicemail, and as angry as I am with her all I want to do is give her a hug and tell her how much I love her....
A: then do it. You have nothing to loose! So stop talking to me and go get your fucking girl! She yelled down the phone and hung up.
I stood up set the directions and sprinted for 5 hours to Katie and my house, I saw Katie sat on the sofa crying and I ran over to her and gave her a huge hug,
Y: I love you so much k.
K: I love you too and I'm so sorry my love.
Y: I forgive you but please next time talk to me. Don't go and fuck another girl, also don't w have a wedding to get to later on?
K: fuck yeah we do!
Me and Katie laughed and sent the group a message,
Katie: hello fellow Arsenal players,
Y/n: well hello fellow arsenal players,
Leah: I'm so confused...
Beth: Y/n where the fuck did you go for 2 days!
Y/n: long story......
Beth: I'm coming over!
Y/n: slow down you all need to get dressed up and go to the emirates!
Viv: huh?
Leah: huh?
Beth: huh?
Steph: what have I just watched happen?
Katie: hurry up you have 2 hours!

2 hours later
Me and Katie rushed over to the emirates where we ran into our changing rooms Beth, alexia ( who flew over) , Steph and Viv were all my bridesmaids little did they know... they all walked into the changing rooms they had been lead too.
Beth: what are we doing I thought the wedding was off?
Y/n: you thought wrong girls get your dresses on!
They all chuckled and looked at me shocked we all go in our outfits and took a photo before we walked out to the pitch.
As my dad was dead I wanted Alexia to walk me down the aisle as she was like a mum anyways. I saw Katie stood there in a white short suit with tears in her eyes smiling at me, me and ale strolled down the aisle and alexia shook hands with Katie and whispered something in her ear which Katie responded 'I promise' which made me chuckle a little before she held my hands and we stood face to face.

Katie- I do. She says with a huge smile on her face.
Viccer: Y/n Y/l/n do you take Katie McCabe to be your lawfully wedded wife?

Viccer: I now pronounce you wife and wife. You may kiss the bride,
Me and Katie don't hesitate another second we connect our lips that move in sync then we both pull away and have a huge hug.
Katie: forever,
Y/n: and always.
Me and Katie walk back down the aisle holding hands getting white petals thrown on us. Me and Katie walk to the centre circle and have our first dance. She places her hands on my waist and mine around her neck and we move slowly in sync with the music, our bodies become one.
