I sat ringside as I watched the bloodline take out Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. Solo, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu all point to the sky as smackdown goes off the air.

I got up from my seat and handed the microphone to one of the production assistants before walking back to the back.

It had been a long night and I wanted nothing more than to go back to the hotel and relax. As I stepped through the curtain and into Gorilla, Tama was standing there waiting for me.

"Y/n looking beautiful as always," He says

"How many times have I told you I'm not interested Tama,"

"Just give me a chance, please?"

I walk past him to the women's locker room. Ever since my relationship with Jey ended, I had promised myself I'd never become romantically involved with another coworker, no matter how attractive they were.

Week after week it was the same thing. Tama wouldn't quit hitting on me. If it wasn't flirting with me, he'd get one off his bloodline buddies to talk to me and try to convince me to go on a date with him.

"Come on y/n Tama's a good man," Jacob says

"Nothing like my idiot brother," Solo adds

I walked away feeling frustrated. No matter how many times I told them no, they wouldn't give up.

"Hey y/n" Tama says as I pass by him on my way to catering

"What's it going to take for you to leave me alone?" I ask

"One date with me. If after the date you want me to leave you alone, I will,"

I groan, "Fine, one date,"

"I'll take you out after the show tonight, does that sound good?"

"Yeah, that's fine,"

After the show, he waited for me outside of the women's locker room. I walked out carrying my bag.

"Ready?" He asks

"Yeah let's go,"

We walk to his rental car and he opens my door for me. I look at him skeptically, but get inside. He loads the bags in the trunk before getting inside.

"What would you like to do for our date?" He asks

"Can we get food? I'm starving,"

"Of course, there's a bar and grille close by that's still open,"

We make small talk on the way to the restaurant and I started to realize maybe he isn't as bad as I thought.

The more that I got to know him, the more I got to see the sweet and caring side which was way different than the man in the ring.

"What are you thinking about beautiful?" He asks. I had stared off into space for a little bit. The alcohol was starting to hit me and I was really beginning to fall for him,"

"I'm just happy I decided to give you a chance, Tama,"

"Really?"

I nod, "I was afraid to date another coworker after getting my heartbroken last time, which is why I kept denying you,"

"I understand beautiful, but I promise I'll never break your heart or toy with it. I want to love you and make you stronger,"

"I'd like that Tama,"

"Will you be my girl?" He asks

"Yes, I'll be yours,"

I gently leaned in and kissed him, instantly feeling sparks.

I hadn't felt this safe, happy or secure in a while, and I knew that I wouldn't have to worry about feeling any other way.
