It had been a long night at work, and for the past several hours, I've had a headache that wouldn't go away. I wanted nothing more than to lay in bed and sleep.
As soon as I pulled into the driveway, I noticed several other cars parked in front of our house. I sigh forgetting that Loa had invited the boys over for a guy's night.
I walked and immediately heard loud laughter coming from the dining room. I walk down the hall to the master bedroom.
I had just laid down and closed my eyes when the bedroom light was turned on.
"You okay babe?" Loa asks
"I have a really bad headache, so I'm going to lay down,"
"Do you need anything?"
"Just turn off the light, please?"
He turns off the light and closes the door behind him. It wasn't long before I heard more loud laughter coming from the guys. I texted Loa asking them to keep it down but the noise only got louder.
I texted Loa again, this time I wasn't as nice.
If you don't shut up I'm kicking all of you out
When my text was once again ignored, I stormed out of the room and back down the hallway. I walked around the corner to the dining room and stood there with my arms crossed
"Hey babe, wait why do you look pissed?" Loa asks
"Either shut up or get the hell out. I can hear your loud mouths from the bedroom and it's making my headache worse,"
"Shit sorry babe, I didn't realize we were that loud,"
I walk back to the bedroom and lay back down. It wasn't long before I heard the door open and Loa coming into the room.
"I brought you some medicine and a water in case you need it," he says quietly.
"Thank you Loa, I'm sorry I yelled at you,"
"I'm not mad. Just get some rest, if you feel better and feel up to joining us you're more than welcome to,"
"Just save me some of the pizza. I'll eat it later,"
He smiles, "Already done, you have your own pizza and thing of garlic bread in the fridge,"
He kisses my forehead before heading back to the guys. I take the Tylenol and drink a few sips of water before laying my head back down.
When I woke up, it was a little after 1. I slowly got up out of bed and stretched. The house was mostly quiet, I only heard a few voices coming from the dining room.
I heat up my food and sit in the kitchen at the island to eat. I didn't want to interrupt guys night, even though Loa said he didn't mind.
"Hey baby, you feeling better?"
I nod, "Thank you for bringing me medicine and water. I think it helped a lot,"
"I'm glad, Tama, Solo and Jacob are still here if you want to join us"
"I don't want to ruin boys night,"
"You make it better," Loa says
"Fine, let me eat and I'll join you. I don't want to be judged for eating like a pig,"
"We're not going to judge you, but that's fine,"
He gently kisses my cheek before going back in to be with the boys. After I eat, I walk in to the dining room and sit in Loa's lap
"You feeling better?" Tama asks
I nod, "Sorry, I had a really bad headache from work and you guys weren't exactly quiet,"
"Do you know what caused it?" Loa asks
"Probably being stressed out about my boss being a dick,"
"Need me to kick his ass?" Tama asks
"Oh please, I could take on that scrawny little fucker myself. I'm just choosing to stay employed,"
The guys laugh, "Well if you ever change your mind I'd like to see you beat his ass," Loa says
We spend another hour talking before the others leave and go home, leaving just Loa and I.
"Wanna go snuggle in bed?" He asks
"Yeah, but remember you're cleaning up this mess tomorrow morning,"
"I know babe,"
"I might be nice and help you, but you have to give me a kiss,"
He smiles and gently kisses my lips before carrying me up to bed. As soon as he layed down beside me I had my head on his chest and arm wrapped around his stomach
"You know, I think I'm the luckiest guy in the world? I get to wake up to you every morning,"
"I feel the same way Loa," I say. I close my eyes and fall asleep listening to the sound of his heartbeat
