*Lando's p.o.v*
It was 6am I slowly opened my eyes to turn off my alarm. I groaned softly and tried to rub my eyes, but they were wrapped tight around Remi's body. I couldn't help but smile as I watched her sleep peacefully, my alarm was still blaring in the background but my eyes were occupied by the gorgeous girl next to me.
Remi moaned softly, "Lan....can you turn your alarm off" she mumbled still asleep. I quickly turned to my phone and switched off my alarm, "Sorry." I whispered, she turned around and nestled her head on to my shoulder. I softly kissed her head and just enjoyed this moment for a few minutes longer till it was time for me to get up.
I grabbed a towel from my wardrobe and headed into the shower, I quickly washed my hair and body and stepped out of the shower wrapping the towel around my waist. I walked back into the bedroom and glanced at Remi who was wrapped up in the blanket sleeping so peacefully. I smiled brightly at the most gorgeous girl who was laying in my bed.
I quickly got dressed ready for todays race, I grabbed my bag and made sure I had everything before i walked over to the bed and gave Remi a kiss on the cheek. "I'll see you at the race baby." I whispered. She hummed, and rolled over, "I'll see you later." She said sleepily before drifting back off into a deep sleep.
I left my apartment and hopped into my car heading towards the circuit. Monaco this early in the morning is beautiful, there's hardly any traffic and the sunrise is beautiful. I parked up the car and headed towards the paddock, waving hello to a few fans on my way in. I scanned my pass and headed straight towards hospitality for breakfast.
"Morning Lando." Zak smiled as he seen me walk into the lounge area. "Hey, Oscar not here yet?" I asked, placing my bag down on the sofa. Zak shook his head, "nah not yet, what are you fancying today?" Zak asked. I smiled, "my usual, scrambled egg on sourdough with avocado." I smirked, he smiled and told the chef my order. I sat down in the chair as Zak approached me with a coffee and an apple juice for me.
"Thanks." I said taking a sip of the cold juice, "so then, tell me about Remi?" Zak smirked. I shook my head, "there's nothing to tell, I love spending time with her, she's great, amazing, kind, funny, gorgeous." I blabbed, as Zak smirked at me. "What?" I questioned furrowing my eyebrows at his mischievous grin. "You like her." He stated. I rolled my eyes, "this again? I've known her for four days." I pointed out, Zak shrugged, "so? You've spend every minute of the day and night with her, you can't tell me that you haven't caught feelings for this girl." He questioned. I stayed silent, he was right, I was definitely falling hard for her, but what was I supposed to do, she leaves to head back home on Tuesday, I'm never going to see her again. "Fine....yes I do have feelings for her, she's honestly the most amazing girl I have ever met, but what would you have me do Zak? She's leaving on Tuesday....and I live here and travel a lot I can't ask her to drive her life back in England to stay with me after we've only known eachother for a couple of days." I stated.
He sighed, "I know mate, but you have to think about yourself at some point, if you really think this girl is the one and vice versa then you both need to have that conversation before she leaves." He explained, i nodded, "you're right....what do you think of her?" I questioned, just as the chef brought over my breakfast, I gave him a thankful smile before he walked away. I turned back at Zak waiting for his opinion, "honestly... I think she's perfect for you, you both balance off eachother, and she's put you in your place when you need to be focused and professional. She's also really sweet and caring. And I really do like her...I think this is the first girl you've brought to meet us that I've actually liked." He admitted. My eyes widened, "you didn't like Luisa?" I asked, Zak shrugged, "I did...but you weren't focused on your career when you were with her, but with Remi, she pushes you to be the greatest you can be and it's really showing." He responded. He was right, when I was with Luisa I didn't really care about the position I came, in the races, and I didn't push myself to show my full potential. But with Remi I feel like I have to, I feel like I have to show the world how great I can be and that's thanks to her.
