I headed back to the Ferrari garage, Marco was following behind me, "so how did it feel seeing him?" Marco asked, I shrugged. "Fine, nothing to really be excited about." I replied flatly. "María come on you clearly still love the boy." He stated, I froze and turned glaring at him, "excuse me?" I questioned. He frowned and stayed silent, "Exactly, I don't love anyone so get that into your head if you say such things again I won't hesitate into putting a bullet right between your eyes." I threatened, he nodded, "sorry Donña." He apologised. I whipped myself back around and walked into the garage.

"So what's the plan?" I asked Frederic, "well we need you to do a video for our YouTube channel and TikTok with Charles and Carlos, is that okay with you?" He asked, I nodded, "all good." I stated.

I headed up to hospitality where Charles and Carlos were waiting for me, "Ahhh Remi that performance was incredible." Charles congratulated embracing me into a hug, "Thanks Leclerc." I smiled and glanced at Carlos who was giving me daggers, "Problem?" I asked, "you know full well I have a problem with you." He replied. I rolled my eyes, "oh please, it's been a year get over it. And for the record nobody has actually asked why I did what I did you all assume the worst in me when I've given none of you a reason." I pointed out.

"You ruined your boyfriends season for your one gain." Carlos yelled, I laughed, "my own gain? What did I gain then? Hmmmm since you all think you know why I did it please tell me what did I gain?" I questioned, he sat there trying to think for a moment, "exactly, I gained nothing!!! I left I could have stayed and kept winning to be a world champion but I didn't!!! Because there was nothing to gain only Lando's safety was my priority!!" I yelled. Carlos looked at me, "Lando's safety?" He questioned. "Yes....the Alpine driver targeted Lando why do you think he always pitted after I took Lando out safely?" I stated. His eyes widened, "so you did it to protect Lando?" He asked, I nodded, "yeah and I succeeded but I lost him and my friends!! But that doesn't matter now because I don't care anymore and you breathe a word of this to him I won't hesitate in doing to you exactly what I did to that Alpine driver, understood?" I ordered, he nodded, "Yes." He stated.

"Right then let's get this video going shall we." I smiled and sat in between Carlos and Charles. "Hey guys welcome to another video here at Ferrari, I'm Charles." Charles introduced.

"I'm Carlos." Carlos waved, "and I'm Remi." I grinned, "and today we are going to be asking some questions which you all have kindly sent over." Charles smiled, I grabbed a piece of paper off the table.

"Charles how is puppy training with Leo going?" I asked, he smiled, "it's good, he's learnt to sit and wait." He explained.

"Wait?" Carlos questioned, he nodded, "yeah so when I have his food I tell him to wait and then I tell him to go and he eats it." Charles explained. Carlos nodded in understanding, "okay next question, Carlos are you and Lando still friends?" Charles asked. I subtly rolled my eyes and glanced at Carlos, "yes we are still friends, we still play golf together and go out for food sometimes." He stated.

"Remi, do you think you'll ever go behind the wheel and drive for formula 1 again?" Carlos asked, I shrugged, "Not sure, I would like too it was great fun but I have other priorities, but you never know maybe in a few years your might see me on the grid again." I smiled.

We answered a few more questions, "okay last question, Remi how does it feel being back and do you miss being at McLaren with Lando?" Carlos asked. I nodded, "I do miss being with McLaren I made good friends over there, but I'm happy for a change of scenery and to get to know different drivers and gain new friends." I replied ignoring the question about Lando.

"That's it from us, we will see you again soon with another video." Carlos smiled, the three of us waved at the camera. "All done, well done guys that was great." Jessica the manager for Ferrari media smiled. I nodded and started to walk away when Charles called me. "Hey Remi can we talk?" He asked, I nodded, we headed towards his driver room, "Everything alright?" I questioned, he nodded, "Yeah I just need you to explain something to me." He stated. I sat down on the chair and looked at him, "Why did you have to protect Lando? Why didn't you call the police if you knew someone was trying to kill him?" He asked, I froze, fuck!! What am I suppose to say? "Ummm well we had no proof but I knew it ever since Austria." I lied, he nodded, "hmmm, are you sure that's the only reason?" He asked, I nodded, "yep." I replied. "See I'm not quite sure that's the full story, I'm not stupid María I know who you are and who your father is you don't need to lie to me." He stated, I frowned, "I doubt you know anything Leclerc." I stated.

"I do, your father is Leonardo Rossi, mafia leader of Italy, I know because he came here a few weeks ago talking to Frederic and i overheard the whole conversation. I know you protected Lando, I know you are still here to protect Lando, and I know you are part of the mafia." He stated.

"Fine, you know. So go on and tell everyone, but if you do I will not hesitate and kill you Charles." I threatened, he held his hands up in defence, "I'm not going to tell anyone, in fact I want to help. Lando is a good person and a good friend and I want him safe. And me being a driver and close with him I can get more information." He explained. I paused and leaned back in the chair, he was right hun and Lando are good friends, he could easily keep a closer eye on him, "deal, but you only gather information, if there's a threat of any kind you get me got it." I ordered, he nodded, " I promise.
