Getting the call and suprises

*1 week later*
I was sat outside smoking my vape, I was finally on my break after a long start to my shift. I was scrolling through Instagram when a number popped up on my phone, I was hesitant to answer, but accepted just in case it was the agency.

"Hello is this Remi Walsh?" A women said over the phone.

"Hello, This is Remi." I replied.

"Ah amazing, hi Remi, this Andrea calling from HYBE, I just wanted to inform you that we would love to work with you, and hope you will accept the offer to become our new signing musician." She said.

My eyes widened, oh my god is this really happening, "Wow, thank you that's amazing news, and I accept." I said composing myself to not completely go nuts over this news.

"That's great to hear, you'll start in a months time, we will send you over the contract in the next few days, Scooter your manager also wants you to send over some songs so he can have a look at them with his songwriter and then you can start recording, is that okay with you?" She asked.

"Yes that's absolutely fine, thank you so much for this opportunity I really appreciate it." I said.

"It's not a problem, you are extremely talented and we can't let good talent go to waste, anyways I'll leave you to enjoy the rest of your day, bye for now." She said.

"Thank you, bye." I smiled and hung up the phone, I squealed with joy, I can't believe it....my dreams are finally coming true. I took a few minutes to calm down, before heading back inside. "Hey you okay?" Ella asked, I nodded, "yeah, I just got the call, I'm starting next month." I squealed. Ellas eyes widened, "oh my god babe that's great, well done I'm so proud of you." She chirped and embraced me into a tight hug, "thank you, Im honestly so pleased." I breathed. I glanced behind Ella and noticed people waiting to be served, I glanced over at Jack who was scrolling through his phone, I scoffed, "seriously, what a knob." I mumbled, Ella turned around and gasped, "fuck sakes." She groaned, Ella headed straight towards Jack as I tended to the customers.

"Sorry about the wait what can I get you guys?" I asked, they scoffed, "it's about time, I've been waiting here for ages, is there not any other bar staff on today?" The customer asked.

I sighed, "I do apologise, I just came from my break, I'll make sure the situation is dealt with, in the mean time what can I get for you?" I asked. He placed his order while I punched in on the tills, and quickly poured his drink, I glanced towards Ella and Jack....Ella was proper having a go at him.

"Hey girl." Hermione smiled as she arrived for her shift, "what's going on there?" She asked glancing over at Jack and Ella. I shook my head, "don't get me started." I mumbled.

It was about 8:30pm and the pub was full and busy, lucky enough Dan put a few extra staff on this evening which meant Ella and I weren't stuck here hours after closing. I was to busy serving customers that I didn't even look at the next person, "what can I get for you?" I asked, staring at my blank till ready to take his order.

"You." He stated, my heart was pounding in my chest as I glanced up at came face to face with my ex boyfriend... Cameron. "What do you want?" I asked, crossing my arms over my chest. "Can't I come and visit my girlfriend?" He asked. I scoffed, "girlfriend? We broke up a year ago." I stated. He rolled his eyes, "come on Remi you know we are good together....plus it's not like anyone else will ever date you." He stated. I rolled my eyes, "good together? That's funny, I was just a good punching bag....you never cared about me....so you either order something or leave." I stated. He scoffed, "I'll have cider." He gritted, a fake smiled placed on my lips as I poured his drink and practically shoved it towards him, "£4.45." I stated, he nodded and handed me the money. "Talk to me when you are free."he winked before walking away. I took a deep breath and let it out, trying to calm myself down.
