I hear them saying that I'm alienated.
They find it strange that I speak another language.
They don't like it when I differ from the rest of the creatures on our planet.
They plan on sending me away.
"Away to where?"
"Earth." They say.
"Earth? The planet full of death and self-destruction." I question.
"You have nothing to worry about when you'll stand right out just like the rest." They anwser.
I take a quick flight and soon I arrive at a place called Ice, then I walk to another city called Forest.
The creatures seem unbothered until I step closer. They suddenly unfreeze and run deep into the distance.
I find a village named Desert. The place is humid and full of inhabitants living under the sand dunes, unlike the others living from above.
What does it mean to be an earthling?
My journey led me to another town called Mountain. There seem to be no living creatures here. They float in the sky, flying me by.
I've yet to interact with one of the beings inhabitating the world on the city of Earth.
The closer I get to them, the less I see them. I feel just as I felt while I was home. I'm all alone no matter what turn I make or what surface I land.
Should I change, or should I just leave this place? Do I belong anywhere else then here or there...
A sudden stop in my tracks. I look out and see a pool of water. In it are all kinds of things swimming around. They sway side to side and jump away the instance I step closer to them and reach down.
I notice they never changed. They only swam away just as they had done before I came.
The heaven called Sea seemed to keep my mind sane and at ease.
I see what swims above and dive deeper to find what crawls below. I explore what comes my way and find the beauty that had been hidden from me before I decided to differ myself from the same. I realized they understood my language.
Stranger or outcast, I say neither because I am a foreign curiosity, peculiar, and interested in knowing where I'll fit in.
An Inquisitive Wanderer.
