"I'm not Phillips girlfriend!" I say, in realization of what I said i forgot me and Benny's conversation about this topic till now. Benny's walking a head of the group now while i'm in the back in shock of what they said. I mean yes Phillips and I hang out a lot but this was the first time i was hearing about me being his girlfriend.

"Uh yea you are!" Bertram says "Anyone could see that," he laughs.

"And what's that supposed to mean?" i announced.

"You two ALWAYS hang out" Kenny says as he really over exaggerates the 'always' part.

"He's my only friend here in this town." I say in my defense.

"You ride on the back of his bike," Tommy says but then gets cut off by his brother, Timmy or Repeat, "On the back of his bike." I see why they call him Repeat.

"I don't like getting my bike out, that's not a crime," I say. I realized they had a point with that.

"Yeah-Yeah he pays for your food" Yeah-Yeah says in between a laugh. I know understand his nickname too.

"He's only being nice," I say. Phillips was raised that way, to be a gentleman. He holds the door for almost everyone except his friends.

"Well whatever, you dating him or not, you both sure do act like a couple" I turn to see Ham laughing and the others making jokes. The entire way to the Hill I'm convincing the group that i'm not dating Phillips.

"Oh Shit!" Squints yells. All the guys start groaning and realization of what they're looking at. "What?" I ask.

Kenny leans over and says "You see your boyfriend up there on top of that hill?" he points towards the very top of the Hill and I see Phillips talking to Thomas and Mack. "He's not my boyfriend," i say rolling my eyes.

"Whatever, he took our spot-" Kenny says.

"Yeah-Yeah, cause we had to come pick up you, we gave up our spot. Now we got no where else to sit." he yells at me.

"Of course you do!" I say. If he's going to blame me for the problem I might as well fix it.

I walked up the hill and turned around halfway up. "You coming?" I yelled back to them.

"What are they doing here?" Mack says, he came out of no where.

"They are going to sit here whether you like it or not," i say back to him.

"There's no room" Philip's says. I know him well enough that he's trying to be nice but he doesn't want them here.

"Of course there is, Benny would you please take the blanket out of the basket your holding, same with you too," i gesture. I take my basket and give a blanket to Phillips. He wasn't going to move anywhere so i snatch the blanket back and said "Fine," we put the blankets out on the ground and i sat down. Benny sat down next to me and i smiled. Phillips sat on the opposite side of the blankets next to Josh. I knew he was mad but he didn't have to be so rude about sharing.

"Is anyone hungry?" I ask unboxing the baskets.

"Oh yeah" Ham says reaching for something.

"Of course you are," i heard someone mumble under their breath. I gave Ham a wrapped sandwich and a bag of chips. "Do you want something to drink?" i asked,

"What do you have?" he asks. Honestly I knew he didn't care as long as it was something so I passed down a coke and other kids started to pile in. I passed out pretzels and fruit but I was waiting till Phillips asked for something. I looked in his direction and he didn't say anything. He didn't even look at me. He looked angry. I knew he was mad but this was childish.
