Jaimes POV;
The assembly lasted for another 30 minutes after I got my certificate.
Valarie and Alex decided to head back to their dorm before showing me around and asked me to come with them.
I've been waiting and waiting for a chance to ask them about aria and the moment we got into their room I almost exploded with questions.
"So you two were friends with Aria?" Alex walks over to her bed and plunks herself on top of her sheets and sighs.
Her bed sheets are pink with little brown teddy bears spattered across them.
"Yeah we were, it's a long story." Alex sighs almost in annoyance, not towards me but rather the situation.
"Wait, how do you know Aria?" the other girl asks. With that Alex sits up and raises an eyebrow and Valarie who up until now had been almost quiet moves away from the wall she was leaning on.
"Oh she's my roommate, I mean 'temporary roommate' to use her words." I groan, even thinking about having to see her tonight makes my stomach turn.
"You're telling me that you somehow got roomed up with the girl who has her daddy handpick her roommate each year?" Alex laughs, she seems eagerly amused by that fact.
"Why were you guys even friends with her? She's- not to be rude, really bitchy." I ask trying to hide my anger towards aria, or at least most of it.
"She wasn't always like that, she's actually a really sweet person." I find that hard to believe. "I mean she could act snobby sometimes but that was pure ignorance, rather than how she is now." Valarie seems sad talking about Aria, I can't pin point where it's coming from though.
"But ever since her and Ava met she started acting differently."
With that Alex stands up "well enough of that and the mood ruining," Valarie shoots me a small smile and awkwardly looks around the room "How about we start the tour"
Alex almost jumps up and down with excitement as she rushes towards me looping her arm between mine.
Aria's POV;
After the assembly I was quick to make my way across the school and to the front office, Ava by my side.
"Now i'll finally be able to get rid of jaime, and have some time alone in my own dorm." I groan as I swing open the glass door to the front office.
"It sucks we won't get a chance to room until our final year" Ava pouts.
Me and Ava haven't been able to be in the same dorm since we just met last year.
Walking up to the front desk, Miriam the Lady who runs things down here almost immediately clocks me.
"Ahhh aria, your father said I might see you soon" She laughs. Weird.
"Yes, I'm here to talk about my assigned dorm room, there seems to have been a horrible mistake. I was supposed to be rooming by myself this year."
She nods her head in acknowledgment almost as if she knows exactly what I'm about to say.
"No mistakes here! We actually got a call from your father a week ago he said it will be up to us this year to choose your roommate." I gasp.
