~Y/n's POV~

My dorm felt so empty after Mattheo left. It was too quiet. I found myself smiling at myself when I thought about the events that happened today.

He came over to MY dorm and he watched movies with ME.

I guess we're pretty close friends now?

I'm supposed to hate him, he's Voldemorts son.

Thinking about Voldemort makes me think about my parents too, how awful people they are.

I get chills while thinking about them, but Mattheo isn't like them, he's actually so sweet.

As I was thinking about him, someone knocked on my door.

I opened it to see Draco.

"Hi Y/n." He said and held out a bouquet of flowers.

"Woah what's this for?" I asked, taking the flowers.

"For sleeping with Astoria. I know how much of a bad person she is, and I betrayed your trust and put us in danger." Draco said, "I'll never talk to her again. I promise."

He actually looked apologetic.

"Oh, no it's fine. I overreacted. I don't have the right to control your sex life." I said.

"Thanks, I hope we can get past this and be best friends like usual." He said.

"Yeah, let's just forget about it." I said, and we hugged. It was great having by bestie back.

"So where have you been?" I asked.

"Well, we had to change our safe house location again. One of the death eaters found us this morning."

"Wait, does coming to Hogwarts make it easier for them to find y'all?"

"Well yeah, but it'll raise suspicions if we don't come to classes."

"That's true, our group kept asking me where you guys have been. Shouldn't we just tell them?" I asked.

Draco thought for a second. "What if we all just left Hogwarts?"

"What- So we're just going to ditch school?" I asked.

"Only until Voldemort's dead." Draco responded seriously.

Mattheo invited our group to his dorm tonight. It sounded like something serious, I guessed it was something about their running away plan.

He invited us at midnight, when everyone else was asleep.

Daphne, Pansy and I walked quietly towards his dorm in our night gowns, yawning every few seconds.

We got to his room and knocked, Mattheo opened the door and signaled us to go inside quietly.

Everyone else was there, some sitting on his bed while others sat on the rug on his floor.
